Used as a breaker before the MPPT in my solar array. Needed something that can support 70v . This fit the bill.Came with a small DIN plate to mount on. Worked good. Time will tell but I don’t suspect issues

I like this because it allows me to have a simple way to disconnect my solar DC from the inverter quickly.

Well I like the general design, and I use square crimp connectors and 10 AWG stranded cable (partly for mechanical strength) that fits securely. Bearing in mind that I have never caused it to trip and I have only used it as a switch, it seems to work as intended.But I can't use it with the Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100V 20 amp 12-24-48 Volt Solar Charge Controller. The controller doesn't recognize the battery when this part is in the circuit. I will make a guess that this part has some series inductance that is incompatible with the charge controller. Unfortunately I have to live with the charge controller's quirks so I suppose I will find some other purpose for this circuit breaker.Based on build quality and standards compliance I give it 4 stars. Unfortunately in my particular situation I had a 1-star experience.

While they do what they are supposed to do, the "in" connections have failed on two of them because they do not hold the wire fast. To be fair, I am using these on solar panel lines and the wire is stranded. I feel like they should specifically state if that could be a problem and only solid wire can be used to make a strong connection.

Easy to install and works perfectly for my DIY Grid Tie solar installation.

When tightening the wires down the breaker housing starts to open slightly along the plastic assembly line.
