Quality brush, perfect for my short-haired Border Collie, who has a thick undercoat. It brushes smoothly, doesn’t snarl, and is light in my hand, which is important because he is only 7 months old and is already a champion wiggler and head-knocker. The brush grabs enough to make a long swipe through his coat when he is moving quickly, which is most of the time. He will love this brush when he grows up. As for using this for a human, I plan to buy a few more. Lovely, just right brush.

A few months later, the varnish (which wasn’t supposed to be on it, or I wouldn’t have bought it) still reeks - request for return still ignored

Makes my hair very frizzy and doesn't sort through tangles, need a comb to support, but I do feel it keeps it a bit healthier.

I love this brush because it's very gentle and is perfect for fine hair. Brush has well made handle of bamboo with alternating light and dark wood and coated to prevent water damage. Unique style makes it easy to spot among other brushes and is lightly stamped on handle as soft 100% boar's hair bristle. It's comfortable to hold with nicely rounded edges and is sturdy to last very long time. Bristles are dense and work well with hair that it's specifically made for. Boar bristles are soft but stiff enough to move easily through hair and are gentle on scalp too. Most brushes are too stiff, hard and rough if you have fine thin hair but this brush is excellent. Can't say how well it works for other hair types but brushes for those types are easy to find. Brush meet expectations and great value.

Updated Nov. 2022: Added two pics & repurchased again this year. Bought the original brush in March 2017 and used it for over 5 years. Kept it dry and clean and it held up well. It was such a quality product that I had to buy another one! I passed down the old brush to our new cat who loves this it as much as I did. Let me start by saying I used to hate brushing my hair. I'm mid 20's, natural blonde with super thin, fragile hair and it always took so long to brush my hair because I really had to be extremely careful or my hair would break too much. Now, I actually look forward to brushing my hair, it seriously feels so luxurious! I'm in love with this brush, I'm not sure how my hair has survived without it. I really can't believe this is the first soft bristle brush I've ever had. I'm a bit sad that I've been using hard plastic bristle brushes for so long. After using this brush, I'll never go back. I am really surprised at the difference it makes; my hair feels softer, sleeker, and the appearance has drastically changed since I switched. I don't have nearly as much damage/breakage as I used to have with my old brushes.This brush is wonderfully made, excellent quality, great craftsmanship. I love the style and feel, so comfortable to hold and to use, the bristles are gentle on my hair and scalp, very soft but firm enough to detangle my thin hair. It's so easy to use and clean, I love it! Would definitely purchase again and will highly recommend, will certainly be shopping with this company again!
