Easy and bountiful
I like it!I just planted an organic, vertical indoor herb garden on it (see photo). Totally gorgeous. SMELLS EXQUISITE! It fits more than you think it will and was easy to install. I'm not sure how it performs over time (I worry about root rot and fungal growth). I had to buy more root wrappers so I can make changes if needed ($1.25 each). No big deal finding those at the 'Plants On Walls' store online. Absolutely no moisture on walls so far. The drip irrigation pump and timer work absolutely as they should, but I was hoping for a timer that allowed me to set days, not just 30 minute increments in one 24 hour period. It does look a little black and felt-y until plants mature and side views are much more so. I think I'll get a nice planter to set the reservoir tub into and use some decorative herb sign stakes to obscure the edges a bit? I'm sure non-edible, fluffier ferns and shefelera etc. do a great job of felt coverage though. The pockets were hard for me to stretch, so I hope I didn't shock my plant roots during handling? A little plant vitamin B in the water reservoir should alleviate that. I hope everything grows well - companion planting herb pockets was fun, but may also bring up some issues? I'll update my review in a few months. This is so exciting! I have a living vertical indoor herb wall without much fuss.I've even attracted a new pet ladybug I've named Herbie.

It's ok....
Very expensive for what it is. Since there's very little information on what you're actually buying:The main attraction (and only unique item) is the plant pocket column. This is a plastic board with synthetic felt stapled to the front. It's meant to be mounted to your wall, suspended above the base; the unit is not free standing like the image would lead you to believe.Between the plastic and felt is a small rubber tube that runs vertically. This will be connected to the pump later.Everything else is off the shelf parts.Beneath the pocket column, you're meant to put the supplied black trashcan ($1?) with a "Florafelt" sticker attached to it ($0.10?). This holds the water that will be circulated to the top of the column and catch it again as it drips down. There's a small submersible pump (http://www.amazon.com/WP1500-Submersible-Hydroponics-Aquaponics-Fountain/dp/B00BBMLEK6) ($20?) that you place inside the trashcan. This is connected to the rubber hose that carries the water to the top of the column. The pump turns on at times you specify via a mechanical timer (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006LYHDXQ) ($5?) that you plug between the pump and your wall outlet. The package also comes with 8 felt squares of fabric to wrap each plant in. This is probably not enough if you're using smaller plants per each pocket. No clue about where to buy more.and that's it. The price doesn't seem justified when you see the unit sitting in your room, but it's nice to have a turnkey solution to get a vertical garden indoors.

It works!
Very nice. The plants can't be too big when you start, but they grow well in the vertical garden! Very fun to watch.
