Perfect stain for my project but I didn't follow directions!
My table was a light wood and I wanted it dark, so I bought this. I sanded it down first (followed those instructions) then put the stain on. It said to wait 3 minutes, then wipe stain off. I did this, and there was virtually no color change. So I left it on overnight and never wiped any of it off and got this gorgeous dark brown table that has a glossy finish.I've since purchased polyurathane and intend to seal it, but 3 days in (so far) and it looks great! I even had some friends over for dinner and we used glasses sans coasters and the wood/varnish remained 100% in tact.LOVE the way this turned out! Also, happy I could get the HALF pint as it's all I needed for the project.

Perfect
It's perfect and always consistant. It will last a long time and goes far. I just wish they would package it differently so the can doesn't rust out before you get to use it all.

Great color
Exactly the color I wanted. Took a really long time to dry. Over 24 hours and the color was still rubbing off onto my hands when I touched the wood. Used on fir kiln dried lumber.

Looks Great!
Was easy to apply and makes my bat look amazing! It takes a while to dry but in the end it is worth it.

Worked
Seems concentrated. Lots of pigment. Goes on very dark, even when wiping excess immediately instead of waiting up to 5 minutes. If you don’t want the wood to absorb that much, I recommend using this brand’s pre-stain wood conditioner. Absorption likely depends on the wood, also. One of the 5 colors looked like a return. Lock clips were missing from top of can. That one came sealed in a plastic bag, and there were dried stains around the lid. Also, that can was a little less full compared to the other 4 colors. We didn’t need much, so it was fine for us.We used em on several different smaller projects and are reasonably happy with all the results. The Amazon prices are reasonable compared to local stores, and the color selection / availability was decent. Would recommend.

Incredible match and super easy to use! Transformed my floors!
The media could not be loaded. Got super lucky and the Kona color was an exact match for my floors! As the photos and video show, it completely transformed the floors. It was simple to use, and has a nice seamless finish when rubbed off properly. A few tips:- I used a n95 respirator mask, opened the windows, and used gloves as this WILL stain anything it touches and also has dangerous fumes.-I was doing small touch ups so I dipped a tissue in the product, rubbed it on the spot, let the stain sit for less than 30 seconds and then wiped it up with a microfiber towel. Could have probably also used a rag to apply but was too lazy to find one. I repeated the process until I was satisfied with the color and didn’t tempt fate by letting it sit for very long - you can always add color but you can’t take it away!-The floors stayed sticky for at least 30 min to an hour - it does not dry instantly. Keep that in mind.- The white stuff in the photos is wood filler, we moved into a house that had been home to 4+ huskies who demolished the bedroom floor. I filled the deepest scratches with stainable wood putty and sanded them prior to staining. These sections took the stain unevenly but overall it was fine.
