Definitely worth it for the quality and comfort it provides
One of the best things about this product is the wireless controller, which makes it really easy to change the brightness and color. The controller is simple to use, so you can adjust the light while sitting at your desk. You can also make small changes to both brightness and color, which helps reduce eye strain, especially if you work on the computer for a long time. The light doesn’t reflect on the monitor screen and softly lights up the area around it without any glare. This makes it much better than regular monitor lamps and helps you stay focused while working. It’s easy to set up, attaches securely to the monitor, and doesn’t take up much space, so your desk stays tidy, which is a big plus. The design is clean, and the quality of the light is great. There are no shadows or extra reflections on the screen, which helps you concentrate. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to reduce eye fatigue while working long hours.Overall, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo costs a bit more, but it’s definitely worth it for the quality and comfort it provides.

Greatest light bar
I scoured reviews on the web for the best monitor lamp and BenQ was always in the top 3 and most, except for a few, was #1 on the list. I see why. It’s functional, the build quality is superb, the puck is easy to control, easy to install, and looks great. The price is pretty high and that’s what made me not instant buy it, but after a few months of me thinking about it I pulled the trigger. I do not regret it. Programming at night feels more comfortable and I can see my desk and reach for anything I need.

Absolutely wonderful!
This is my favorite desk light because it does not take up desk surface space, is pretty much hidden away visually, and is highly adjustable in terms of color temperature and brightness. The radio-frequency controller does take up space on the desk, but is a smaller footprint than a desk lamp. What I love most about this is the angle at which it shines the light on the surface of the desk. It does not produce any glare on the computer monitor that it sits atop of. Some lights in this category DO because the lighting is not angled properly, so you have to really read the product description and reviews to find ones that don't. This one was pricey, but I feel that it's well worth it.

Outstanding light bar for flat or curved monitor
This is an outstanding light bar. It is bright, adjustable as to temperature, brightness, and angle, and the remote is durable and functions extremely well. The back light adds aesthetic benefit but also alleviates eye strain and can be turned on or off with or without the light bar. In the image, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo is paired with a Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 OLED curved 32:9 ultrawide monitor (1800 curve radius). In order to use this device on a curved monitor, there is a small adapter that must be fitted. The one problem I encountered with this setup is that the weight of the 'rear end' of the light bar is insufficient to keep the light bar sitting at the desired angle while mounted (it will sag downward and slightly block the screen). To fix this issue, I used a small circular cutout of velcro which I applied to the back of the light bar and the back of the monitor, which holds everything in place nicely. This is a small issue that arises solely because of the curved monitor setup and I do not hold it against the device as it was apparently designed for flat monitors. I highly recommend this product and believe it is worth the premium price.

Best screenbar out there, the remote and controls could be better
This is the best screenbar you can buy. It looks good, and works as advertised. There is absolutely no glare on the screen whatsoever, and it lights up your desk perfectly - no shadows, no bright spots, no eye strain, very comfortable, even at night. The ability to change the light color is great when you work at night. I don't use the back light as my monitor is not against a wall, but that's a very good feature. I like that the remote is wireless - I'm a wire snob.I have it installed on a Dell U3219Q. It only covers the thin bezel and doesn't extend onto the display at all. I also have a Logitech Brio camera installed on top of it. Both are very stable and there is no issue with either. So why 4 stars? Because of the remote and the available controls.- The remote: as others have said, it's a little slow to respond. You have to hover your hand over the sensor for it to light up. Takes a couple of seconds, so it's in no way a dealbreaker, but it's more annoying than I thought it'd be.- The controls: As others have mentioned, I wish the brightness could go lower. There's a ton of little steps (that's a very good thing), so you have to turn the wheel quite a few times to go through all of them, and the lowest setting is still a little too bright at night.

Worth the money $
Hesitated due to the price but now that I have been using it for about 2 weeks, I'm glad I got it. Set up was really quick and easy. They don't try to save a few nickels by shorting on the power cord length. It's 5 feet long so no problem running it down my monitor arm and into a usb hub beneath my desk. Nice counterbalance. The desktop remote pairs easily and works well with a lot of potential customization. With a dual monitor set up, I thought I might need one for each monitor but once I set it up, the light is bright enough to light my workspace but it doesn't throw reflections on the second monitor. I just returned the second one and saved the money. My only complaint is that the foam bolster for the counterbalance when the monitor is too narrow has a peel off backing to adhere it but I could not get it to peel. Not a big deal as the weight of the counter balance holds it in place without the need for any adhesive.IMO well worth the money.
