Works great! Used to replace broken one that came with our loveseat
We have a pretty active house with lots of guests over. The original one that came with the love seat broke in just over a year... We removed and measured the previous one that our love seat came with and this was a perfect match, and 1/4 of the price compared to the one the manufacturer had available. We figured since the one that came from the manufacturer broke so easily last time we'd try a different one... This one is the EXACT size as the original, felt more sturdy, was much cheaper, and has been working great for us for about 3 months now. Very happy with purchase, would purchase again, and would highly recommend :)WE PURCHASED THE 3AC&2USBUPDATE: Been using this in our loveseat for probably over a year now... Still works great, is about to outlast the original piece that came with the loveseat and broke after just over a year of use.I see that people purchased this to do DIY projects (which is AWESOME! and gives me so many ideas lol) but we purchased this just as a replacement piece for the console in our loveseat. The one that came with the loveseat broke after about a year or so of use and we were just simply looking to replace it. It's worked great for what we needed it to, its about to outlast the original one we were replacing it with, and it was just the right fit :)

Quite nice!
Very nice product and not too many out there like this. The installation went smooth and overall I am quite please with the quality, choice, and operation of this unit. I purchased two to mount on the top surface of my wood desk to plug in item liked laptops, chargers, or other items that need power. I didn't need the two USB ports but, now that I have them, I have utilized them as well for phones and tables. The only thing I would change about this product is rotating the outlets 90 degrees but it still functions well. I applied blue painters tape to the area where I was mounting these and on the tape I penciled the dimensions of the cutout. Since the thickness of the desk top was one inch, I made my cutout to be exactly 1 cm too small to account for any errors using a power jigsaw. I then used a rasp to file out the hole making an exact, snug fit. It took me awhile to make sure my dimensions were very accurate but it paid off. I certainly did not want to screw up a brand new $240 dollar desk. I then purchased a 4 foot 9 plug power strip and mounted that on the inside of the modesty board. These two recessed power strips then plugged into the longer power strip along with the fixed components like the monitors, speakers, and the PC. All cables very well hidden and not touching the floor. I can see where this product would function well in many different situations and I would buy them again if I ever need to add more flushed outlets again.

Just what I needed
Bought this as a replacement for the built in power strip in my couch console after it was fried in a lightning strike. It fit perfectly and was super easy to put in. It was also an upgrade since it had 3 outlets.

Great addon to any furniture project
I purchased this to add to a desk that I was using for more functionality. The inset power strip is super helpful and is very convenient for USB-powered devices. Prior I installed a 2 receptacle unit in another desk and can highly advise to buy the 3 receptacle unit. You will always have one more device. Now 120 days in the strip still works fine and the USB ports have a nice snug grip. Is there is one negative it would be the face is rather narrow. When cutting, make sure you make a template and cut carefully, there is not much plastic to cover any over-cutting.

This is a really good solution for a power source on a desktop
This is a really good solution for a power source on a desktop, nightstand or countertop. Looks really good against dark wood, very well made. Eliminated at lease 3 other dangling power cords and phone chargers from my worktop, and let me retire the dusty power strip lurking on the floor.

Perfect! Reds
Perfect! I put this in the console of my new couch and I could NOT be happier with it. It was super easy to install and it looks like it was part of the couch. Color and texture match the inside of the console. The cord is really long and runs underneath the couch to an outlet behind it. Completely hidden. I mainly got if for phone charging but have used a small heater, neck massager, foot massager, laptop, iPad. The list goes on. Maybe my favorite Amazon purchase I’ve ever made.

This is a great product
This is a great product that allowed us to keep out new office free of power strips and cords. I had a local machine shop make a template for routing out the holes (necessary because of the small tolerance on the sides). These look great. I would buy this again.

Looks decent, but a bad design really limits its value
There are not a lot of products offering these features, so I am happy i found this one. I kinda expected it to be steel but it is plastic, though it seems pretty solid. I like the "flat" power cord as it can sit a little closer to the floor/wall/whatever. It also comes out of the power strip at a 90 degree angle so it will work well in tight quarters. Now my beef... The 3 plugs are mounted vertically down the strip with the last one just above the USB plugs. Say you have a wall wart / power adapter. You can put in the top or middle plug, and in both cases it will block the plug below. If you put it in the bottom plug you've just covered your USB ports. Some wall warts are oriented horizontally and/or you might be able to plug your wall wart into the top plug upside down. But most of the time thats not going to work.So really if you need to use a wall adapter, you've either just lost one of your plugs, or you covered the USB ports. Either one kinda sad. anf the ONLY thing that had to be done to solve this entire mess is to put the USB ports at the top, above the plugs.I dunno. I will probably return it. Too bad.
