Good travel companion w/02 Plastic Dripper
Over 20 years ago I switched from Melitta pour-over (user since '72) to Hario. First purchased one of these carafes in a Hario store in Japan to use during a visit 10 years ago; hadn't previously seen this Beaker Server style on Amazon. I always pack this type of Hario carafe whenever I travel; it has a compact size, a sturdy box and numerous & legible measurement markings. It doesn't come with a lid but on my last trip I packed it in it's box with the Hario Range Server lid (that fits & function as a base to set the dripper on) well, it arrived home broken (don't make my mistake) and so repurchased on Amazon, hence review.

Great server for pour over. Wish it was sturdier.
I bought this as a secondary server for pour over as I use a Fellow double wall carafe as my primary. It works fine except that I wish the glass was a bit sturdier. I’m afraid to use my aeropress on it as the glass is so thin. Otherwise, no issues!

Great glass beaker.
Used in a boiling water bath to heat small portions of filtered water. Works great. I would order again if needed.

Broke from tipping over from shallow angle
This is a stylish & high-quality glass, but I just wish it wasn’t soooo thin. It didn’t survive tipping over onto a counter top. Not falling onto it, just tipping from a slightly angle (it was upside down and landed on its bottom).
