I got this in and it was CLEARLY shown my the item that this seller who makes them shows that they truly loves what they do because there was nothing I could see after carefully inspecting it that shown they cut ANY corners! Great barrel thread protector
It is very nicely machined, screwed right on my G21 and complements the expensive barrel on it!Nice product!!!!

Thread protection on a threaded 1911 barrel.
The threads on the end of a pistol(1911) barrel are susceptible to damage. These threaded sleeves protect the threads and look neat with their knurled easy grip exteriors.

It would of got 5 stars but no rubber seal inside. Now I have to find one.

Finally fits
This is the third one of these I've purchased for my Springfield .45XDM and the only one that fit. Some of the thread protectors for this size have an R next to them which is apparently something that doesn't work. If you have lost your thread protector for a .578 x 28 thread, this one does the job! Don't waste money on the other, cheaper options.
