OX ToolsPro Joint Knife - 50mm

Fill, Scrape, Joint, Chop and Scratch Away!
I live in a fairly recently built house that seems to have a never ending list of filling jobs, cracks and repairs to do. I have had a few scrapers and jointing knives over the years and saw the Ox brand but this was the first Ox tool I have purchased. The Good -Its Blue, bright blue, which is surprisingly handy when you have a room covered in dust sheets, pots of paint, debris and other tools. It stands out so you aren't rummaging through tons of other bits to find it.The handle is sized perfectly for me, it's comfortable to hold with the rubber inserts giving both decent grip and some cushioning. It is well built. The handle is of a chunky weight without feeling like you are at the gym whilst using it, there is some flex in the blade but not to the point you worry it will snap under light pressure. The blade whilst not a Stanley knife is reasonably thin at the end allowing you to scrape wallpaper with ease.I have used it for a lot of different jobs and for me the best part is it's ease to clean, it hasn't developed a single rust spot where as my toolbox graveyard is littered with scrapers covered in rust.A quick wipe with warm soapy water has seen off all klinging materials so far.The could be better -Nothing to report so far that could be improved, excellent Jointing knife/scraper thats great to hold, hard wearing and easy to clean. If you need a new scraper or jointing knife or an introduction to Ox tools then you will not go wrong with this.Five Stars.

Best I've had
I use this item to separate the pizza dough balls and remove them from the dough trays. It's the best I've had, doesn't rust (most of the ones marketed as stainless do get rusty. This one is really good. I have to replace it every 9-10 months as for some reason the metal part breaks somewhere inside the handle I think it's called the tang. So the tang breaks. Anyway, I still think this product is awesome and can't imagine my life without it.

Ox scraper
I brought this scraper a while ago and it became my go to for drylining and patching, it's a good price for the quality you get, although with extensive daily use the blade did form a crack right next to the handle and subsequently snapped and wasn't repairable.. this wasn't the first time an ox tool has snapped on me as I had purchased the 1in scraper which had the same issue.. don't take this as saying the ox tools are poor quality, more that they are better for occasional use and not hard daily use..

Woowwoowwoowowowow
Love it, the handle feels good, it's like a polymer type rubber so soft with a bit of compression and is ergonomic to touch. The blade wipes clean easily and *obviously* wont rust. The flexibility in progressive and needs a a tiny amount of force, a light mix of easyfill is enough to make it flex if that's any reference.

THE BEST FILLING KNIFE EVER
I have used filling knives for 40 years. I recently bought a Harris and then a Stanley. Both turned black with rust after the first use! This OX knife, is so shiny and never rusts. It has the perfect smoothness and stiffness for any filling job. I can't say enough about it but if I had to pay £100 for it I would. If I was asked how much I would pay for the Harris and Stanley, knives I would say £0.00.
