SO SO GOOD 😍
This novel was so adorable and sweet in my opinion. Similar to friendships, those fleeting emotional moments, and the want for more despite worry of losing all. The friends-to-lovers trope is WELL executed here. You could sense Bree and Nathan wanting to go farther, but neither wanted to jeopardise their friendship. The dual POV really helped because there was so much build-up to this. The characters wouldn't have been as likeable and this novel wouldn't have been as enjoyable to read without the dual points of view. 🥰 I really liked how this book maintained a light, airy tone. And I was really delighted by it! The Cheat Sheet was a sweet behind-closed-doors romance. 💖💖💖

Beat the friendzone
This is the second book I have read by this author and I see myself reading more. When in Rome was my first and I adored it.Some tropes to expect from this book;- Friends to lovers- Sports Romance- Serious pinning- Closed door on spice (pg13 throughout)Our two leads are Bree and Nathan, they have been bedtfriends for as long as they can remember. One early morning run lead to an unbreakable bond. But could there be more if they only allowed themselves to be brave enough to find out?Bree was set to be a ballerina at Juilliard, she was that good. But after a tragic accident changed the plan for her. She pushes Nathan away knowing that he'll do anything to stay with her and she wasn't about to watch him lose his dream too. But years later they are back to being inseparable... Bree wants more but she will never admit that, what would Nathan want with a ballerina dance teacher, who is struggling to get by and dances above a pizza shop.Nathan *swoon* he is a pro baller, he got his dream but he is struggling to keep up at the moment. He doesn't let himself enjoy the moments, he doesn't believe he struggled enough to get where he is and has to show his worth every day. He too has feelings he has never revealed, his best friend is his whole world for more reasons than just friendship. He wants to be with her more than anything but with Bree saying things like 'he's like my brother' he really doesn't think she wants the same thing. What he doesn't know is Bree is doing that to save her own heart. After a mishap with a reporter Bree and Nathan get thrust into a fake relationship for the sake of Nathan's image (not that he needs help he is the golden boy of his team) but his fans love the idea of him with Bree. Can they cross over that friendzone line? Will things every be the same between them? There are so many cute moments throughout this book, I loved how their Friendship was never compromised. I loved how things were handled with Nathan's mum and I adored the relationship with the rest of the time.. it's like everyone knew but them. Not going to lie I was ready for throwing my kindle out the window at the end, for a few reasons... HOW, I mean seriously how can we be getting dual POVS until the moment I wanted one. Like we needed to hear from him within them last 3 chapters. And then I just felt like things were a bit rushed at the end. I get the whole lost time and stuff but I just wanted more, am I greedy yup but still..All in all I really did enjoy and would recommend.

Cute first half, boring/cringe second half!
2.5 ratingReally enjoyed the first half, was cute and funny but the second half got boring and it got increasingly cringey, especially the ending!

couldn’t stop!
I’ve always been someone who needs to get hooked by chapter two at best, but with this book I was 12 lines deep before I knew it would be done and dusted within a day! I could not put it down - the story had me hooked and i’m not an avid reader - I didn’t want it to end!

Forever has me smiling and recommending this book!
This glorious romcom stole my heart from page one. I was smiling immediately (Bree is such a relatable and likeable character!) and laughing within pages.Friends to loversA sports romanceAddictiveHilariousThis book is so easy to read and I flew through it in a few days. If I hadn’t of been travelling I can almost guarantee I would have finished it in one sitting. This book is incredible, funny, so easy to fall in love with and to top it all off has an amazing book boyfriend (Nathan is just so 😍). Quite easily one of my favourite books of the year. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the entire time. I love this book so much!Perhaps the only time I’ve ever enjoyed the miscommunication trope because it was written so well and the characters had my heart from the beginning. I fully understood where both Bree and Nathan were coming from and why they didn’t discuss anything romantic before in their pasts. So yes it’s technically a miscommunication trope but it’s also such an amazing friends to lovers romcom that I would recommend to all!!

I expected more
Actual rating 3.5I feel like I would have rated this book higher if it had been set in high school or college. The characters didn't feel like the adults they were meant to be. The plot could have been almost identical if they had been younger, and it would have fit better.Their relationship was a bit strange, like how could they not have known they had some kind of feelings for each other at some point. It was glaringly obvious.Despite this, it was a cute kind of pallette cleanser book. It was short, and because the plot wasn't very taxing, it was a good break before diving into a heavier book.

Hilarious, fun clean read!!!
"I'm a woman with very opinionated ovaries, and let me tell you, they're real hussies."Please please please read this! It's rom-com perfection!! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to hang out with the characters IRL!!! Bree and Nathan are both realistic and relatable and lovable! I want to hang out with Nathan's buddies!! The white board scene had me rolling I was laughing so hard!! IYKYK!"I think he missed his calling as Hitch, because he's exactly right."I couldn't put this one down and read it all in one sitting!!! I love Sarah's writing style - it's funny and heartwarming and entertaining!! I'll read anything she rights!! I can't wait to jump into The Rule Book although I really wish we'd gotten Jamal and Larence's stories!!!

Prepare to swoon
It is no secret that I love all things cute and also every single thing I've ever read by @authorsarahadams so it really should come as no surprise that I loved The Cheat Sheet and wish could get my hands on a Nathan ASAP!What did I love about this book you ask? First, the P I N I N G, ooof the pining was so good friends and watching those idiots pine for each other made me wish I had a hot best friend of the male variety.Second, the banter. We all know (or maybe you don't) that I'm a woman of banter and when relationships have the right amount of it I just get suckered in. And these two had banter to spare while at the same time balancing that with a deep knowledge of each other that was just *chef’s kiss*Third, dimples. That is it, that is the tweet. Dimples. Love them.Fourth, Nathan is too sexy for his own good and has a self-sacrificial heart of love that knows how to restrain itself for love and I dig that. I want that! So, if you haven't grabbed a copy for yourself you should really get on that and then grab yourself every other book Sarah has put out because they're just that good.

Excellent From Start to Finish
This book was excellent. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that I loved everything about it. I especially appreciated the obvious affection and chemistry between Bree and Nathan, as well as the dynamics added by the supporting characters. There were no explicit scenes in this book, but I don’t think it suffered in any way for this. The love and connection between Bree and Nathan was still palpable.I’m glad that I had the day off because I really didn’t want to put this book down. It drew me in and did exactly what Sarah Adams claims to want from her writing: it left me feeling happier than I felt before I started reading it.I hope this is the beginning of a series because I would love to see Nathan’s teammates get coupled off. They were so sweet and endearing.

6/5 Sternen
