I buy these Procell batteries as a matter of choice. They last well and I have had no issues with them. They are usually given very long shelf life dates too. Recommended!

It does as it says on the tin so to speak. They last longer than standard AA batteries. Well worth the money. Using them for the Xmas tree lights.

These have worked the same as the ones I have used for years, but the price is better.

I worked in the alarms industry for a some years and have had all makes of battery pass through my hands. My enquiries as to the advantages of 'professional' dry-cell batteries led me to the explanation that the uncompromising materials and methods of construction result in the best available prevention of leakage after they have become discharged (i.e. 'flat') and and their ability to deliver a genuine 1.5 volts, or 9 volts, according to the 'size', for a greater part of their lifetime.Since I was using them professionally, where capital cost is a subordinate consideration to customer satisfaction and longevity (with the attendant requirement to provide a warranty), made these batteries a 'no brainer.' That they are styled to look as though they would be used by 007, had no bearing on my decision to use them. I have never been very happy with the term 'no brainer.' A person without brains would buy 'magic moonshot' batteries, for 99p each, surely?
