BladesUSA HK-079A Fantasy Medievel Battle Axe with Display Plaque, 21-Inch Length

I bought this to be a part of a barbarian Halloween costume. This isn't a toy, and it isn't really just costume quality. This axe is heavy, solid, sharp and a beautiful piece. I suspect that the real barbarians of their day never had anything like this to rely on.Retired, military and law enforcement, my idea of a "weapon" is a Benelli M4, but in a world without guns, this thing would do. Hard to believe they can sell this for this money.

I bought this for a friend's birthday - he's a big devotee of medieval history. He was very pleased, telling me at length about how this was an "axe" not "ax" because it was "double-bearded", and so on, to a point well beyond my interest in knowing. Suffice it to say, a discerning recipient very much approved.I got a chance later on to see and pick up the axe (having it been shipped directly to the recipient when purchased). It was surprisingly heavy...basically this is a chunk of metal. The metal braid grip was an interesting feature. My friend had kept the guards on the blades because as he said, it was very very sharp. Seriously, this thing could do a heck of a lot of damage.It comes with a mounting fixture so you can mount the axe on the wall, presumably next to your shield, and thus be always ready...

product came in a box with formed fit Styrofoam around the Axe. This box was in a larger box with paper packing, it arrived in perfect condition. It is heavy for its size of about 20 inches long and very well made. Blade is sharp and made of metal about an 1/8 inch thick it has plastic tubing covering the edges to prevent cutting until you remove them. Really nice its what I have been looking for a long time and will make a great display piece the wall mount is really nice also..

I bought this axe purely for indulging my medieval weapon obsession, and was pleasantly surprised when it came. The axe is incredibly well-built, sturdy, and sharper than I expected. It became obvious very quickly that this was not just for decoration purposes like many of my other weapons, if so desired. The only complaint I may have is that the axe was much smaller than I had anticipated, although I will not take off stars since I was the one who didn’t check the dimensions. Overall, a stellar axe at an unbeatable price.

As far as sharpness I would give it a ten out of ten and the metal looks really good the articulation of the handle is excellent a little wobbly on the top peice that sticks out but can be unscrewed removing the issue and providing better and more fluid swings overall worth the money if your just collecting cool weaponry like me

its a small axe, of course, seems to be very durable and the handle is great, there is a small wiggle on a wooden part, that's about it tho,m for a decoration it does not matter much, easy to hang, just 2 screws, comes with protections which I have put on in case of an earthquake because my gods sleep around it, that's about it!

Wow!!! I wasn't sure what to expect for $30. When I first got it the ONLY bad thing was there is a picture on the cover of box and styrofoam was in millions of pieces. Now, I have to figure out how to gift wrap it.Besides that this is solid! It's pretty heavy to. You could really use this as a battle axe if you had to. Also, it would be perfect for a Zombie Apocalypse. The feel and look of this axe made me want to get one for myself. Thinking of just buying the Christmas Auction person I drew a gift card so I can keep this one. If you want museum quality go waste your money on a different one for $500-$1000 and then you may not get an axe quite as nice as this one. Trust me on this cause I'm a very picky person. Thx.

Looks cool as hell has some good weight to it real metal! But my handle is crooked so it’s like bent out at an angle from poor craftsmanship.. 🤷🏼‍♂️ looks good up on the wall can’t really tell and it looks good for my costume party 👍🏻Could probably hack something up with it if you wanted but it is a blunt blade.And it’s holding together well
