Waterproof only ONCE
It was easy enough to connect the device to my computer and select the audio files I wanted too listen to.The headphones are too short, so they get trapped in your swimming costume. But you can find a way around it.The problem is that - after ONE HOUR in the pool - the device is NO LONGER recognized by my desktop. The jack of the headphones is wet (not a good sign!) and there is no way to remove the water from inside.I guess $70 is just for a one-time use!

Spend a little more and get this one
Best purchase I've made in all of 2024. This player is easy to transfer music to, and holds a charge way longer than my phone. I've been using it every day for months now, and no problems. I did buy new earphones after a couple months, but only because I prefer a retractable cord. I havent tested how waterproof it is, but it did fine while worn in summer temps of 110.

Love the mp3 player but headphones need work
Perfect size, easy to use. My only complaints are with the headphones. The plastic piece that holds buds is just a tad too short. It doesn't hold the rubber buds well enough. I'm kind of in between small and med size and had to use the smaller ones but they have to be inserted further in to keep them in my ears. The Med's were just too uncomfortable for me. I use mine for swimming and have had the buds come off in my ear. Sound is great as long as the speaker part of the ear bud doesn't get water on it, then it muffles but that is typical with any set. I wish the company would sell replacement head sets. I accidently bent one of mine and had to switch to a different pair

After a few water visits this device will not work
I started with the Syryan devices and they did not work so I grabbed one of these - worked the first 5 or 6 times in the water - now it does not work at all -

No idea if it was any good…
After charging I unplugged the charging cable it when I tried to use it it shut off saying battery done. So, I did it again. Unplugged that charger. Made sure it was not playing, but somehow even with the ear plugs out it turned itself on and discharged the battery again. No idea if it was a bad unit or poor design. It would seem that allowing the until to play without a plug inserted is just dumb. Sent it back. YMMV

Doesn’t work
I used this device less than 5 times swimming - mostly freestyle with a little backstroke - and it no longer works.Don’t waste your money.

Great for any sport use.
Though it's designed for swimming, I got it for mountain biking primarily. I wanted something to replace my iPod Shuffle. This works great for me. It's simple, small, and light. The clip is strong and clips onto to a chest strap well and rotates to various fixed positions. Once you learn the button positions it's easy to use them without looking. The ear buds it comes with are decent and it comes the 3 sizes of in-the-ear fittings and 1 size of regular ear pieces. Its a standard plug so you could use other ear buds if you want. The battery life seems good, though I haven't tested it's stated 20 hour life.I use this with a Mac. Plugging it in via its usb cord, the Mac just recognizes it as an external drive. I can then simply drag and drop music onto and off of it. So far I have both mp3 and m4a files on there and they both work fine.Overall I'm very happy with it as a replacement for my shuffle. The only reason I took off a star was because you cannot create separate playlists and you cannot shuffle the songs - it will just play them in the order they are on the drive. You would have to manually change the order of the song files on the computer to shuffle them. I really wish it had a shuffle setting.
