Stanley the Dog: The First Day of School Hardcover – Picture Book, June 14, 2022

I listen to Bobby Bones and love his grown up books. Also love the real Stanley. Bought 2 copies of this book for my, starting kindergarten grandbabes. A huge success, new fav after dinner story. Love the illustrations and the story is fun and important. Will be buying more for Christmas gifts. Also love that 100% of the revenue goes to the pup shelter where he n wife adopted their other pup Eller from. Probably too much info, but a big fan and I love all his 4 📚

I bought this book for my granddaughter who is starting kindergarten this fall. She loves reading and being read to. This book is truly delightful--she loved it and so did I. She is able to read it, but has a mom and both grandmothers who are/were teachers so her reading has become pretty advanced during Covid. Therefore, whereas she had no difficulty reading it, some children her age may enjoy it more having it read to them. My signed bookplate arrived today (thank you so much, Bobby, for this special addition)! If you're a fan of the show and pre-ordered the book and haven't received your requested signed bookplate yet, you know he had lots of these to sign, so please be patient. I was beginning to think I had fallen through the cracks as I saw so many others receiving theirs well before me. But, I waited it out when I heard how many he had to sign. Thank you, Bobby!!! Your book is a gem!

Full disclosure - I'm a BBS listener and Bobby's other books. I preordered back in January but wasn't sure what to think of a kids book. I was excited to find the book was great and had a wonderful message. My 3 year old has requested we read it over and over and and enjoy reading it to my toddler (let's be honest...not all books are fun to read to kids). Also, I LOVE the illustrations.

I love the book! I am a teacher and I would absolutely read this to my students. There are some great lessons. I pre-ordered it to get it signed by Bobby Bones. He is NOT signing the book. They are sending a signed art sticker that you place in the book. Don't give the book a 1 star based on that sticker. They are still sending those out. Great story, great illustrations!

This is a cute book, and I live the pictures. It's got a great message for kiddos.

Bobby Bones did an amazing job on this children's book and can't wait to see what is in store for Stanley. My 3 year old loves it and we read it every night before bed, even if I pick another bed time story, she has to have Stanley the Dog! She even recited some of the lines last night as I was reading because she knows it so well! We love it and can't wait for another! Thanks Bobby! My 3 year old son recently just started preschool and had just the same nerves as Stanley! It has been a rough first couple of weeks with lots of tears. He actually had a great day today and reading this book after school for the first time after his first great day was just perfect! I got to tell him that he gets to go to school again tomorrow and he said “just like him!” pointing to Stanley. So, I’m crossing my fingers for another good day tomorrow :) My 6 year old son can read the entire book, which is another plus! Thanks as always, Bobby Bones, for spreading joy!! Also, I received my signed postcard and added it to the front cover - worked out perfectly!!
