Work's flawlessly
Wow, this inflator is crazy fast, powerful, and just works. Simple, well made. I've used it to inflate the tires on my X5, as well as bike tires. My favorite part is no more electric cord to plug in.

This thing is awesome, pump up your car tire in no time! Set exact pressure and use it's simple, you can also use it on air mattress, pool floats, beach toys anything you need to blow up with air, this thing is awesome in my opinion!!! Use your regular Makita batteries, simple!

A must!
I purchased the Makita tire inflator because I had a screw in my tire which needed to be repaired in a remote location. I could repair the tire, but I had no way to reinflate it. After purchasing Makita tire inflator I've been able to adjust tire pressure in my car and my mother-in-law's. It's simple use and very accurate.

Impressive tool is fast
The media could not be loaded. Typical solid-built Makita tool does an excellent job. I had a battery with only 1 bar of charge and it took all 4 tires (235/50-19) from 30 to 35 psi in about 15 seconds each. Then it filled the space-saver spare from 35 to 60 in one minute.

Great lightweight inflator!
Very pleased with this lightweight inflator! Small & powerful! Much easier to use and more versatile than electric tank models. It is especially handy when going on RV trips for both my truck and fifth wheel as well as any inflation needs while camping.

Almost Perfect
If you're like me and avoiding the Milwaukee Fan Boy nonsense and using the "still" top brand Makita, this inflater is a product you need to have in your arsenal. It's particularly nice to have for those who do a lot of towing, even on heavier duty trailers. It travels with us anytime we take out of town trips. It's reasonably fast (for what you'd expect), seems pretty accurate on the gauge, and is fairly quiet. It's a not a high pressure compressor, so don't go into thinking that it will perform that way. I've used it several times and it doesn't move the needle on battery life on the 5.0 AH batteries.Only thing is that I wish it had a trigger lock of some sort. Without it, you have to sit there squeezing the trigger the whole time it's running. Maybe not a big deal if you're adding a few PSI, but when you need a lot, that gets annoying. But any reasonably smart person can fashion up a workaround for that little problem.

Love this tire inflator
This inflator sure makes it easy to top up tires. No cords to find, untangle, and plug into outlets (that must be in the vicinity of the car). I like the screw on connector because it makes an affirmative connection, though takes ever so slightly more time to do so. I like the built in air release together with the digital pressure gauge, which together make setting precise pressures fast and easy. I like the clips for storing the hose quickly so it doesn't flop around. It feels robust and well made. There are multiple complaints on the Internet that there is no trigger lock, and I thought this might bug me, but in practice this inflator is fast enough that i don't find myself wishing for a trigger lock (and it would be easy enough to make one, e.g. from a velcro strap). It uses the same batteries as my other Makita tools so i saved money (and space) by getting just the bare tool. It's a bit noisy but not excessively so-quieter than the plug-in inflator it is replacing.

Excellent portable battery-powered inflator
I was expecting it to take a fair amount of time to inflate a minivan tire but because this appeared to be a much more portable handy tool than other options out there, I thought I will take it and since it is Makita I was hoping I would get some use out of it with regards to trouble-free life.I got the tool three days ago and used it for the first time to inflate the tires on a minivan and I was pleasantly surprised to see it only took a few seconds (between 3-5) to inflate the tires to an addition 5 psi from where they were. I have not checked for the accuracy of its readings just yet but I am very happy with its performance. Then, I also tested it on two basket balls that were out of air to the point that you could bend them. Once again attached the nozzle to the basket ball and within 7 seconds they were at 9 Psi which was too much so I reduced it down to 7. Point being that it performs better than my expectations. I hope it will last a long time without troubles.
