Not water proof. Contacted seller through amazon and seller was not helpfuland would not replace the lights which are full of water. Seller should stand behind their product. Disappointing.

Before buying there were no reviews for this product, but I took the chance. When I received the lights they were exactly like Home Depot, but for $7 less each. The quality was amazing! Very solid build with a nice heavy weight. I live in Las Vegas and they reminded me of resort style lights with the same quality look, style, and feel.I purchased these lights for it's slim profile due to the limited walkway space. It has an easy connector for low voltage wiring that snaps into place. I wrapped with electric tape and soaked the ground with water completely. I was working on my pavers and they have not been locked into place, so water was able to get in the joints. The lights did not short. I used 16 gauge wire on a 100ft run, connected to a 150 watt 12v landscape power supply. The stakes seem to be made in the same cast aluminum as the light. I presoaked the ground to make it easier for me to stake. Literally on my last light, the stake partially cracked around the screw collar. I'm sure it was my fault as I was trying to position the lights while fully staked in the ground. I contacted Hykolity and their customer service was great! They were very kind in sending me a part that I quickly received in 2 days! I spaced my lights exactly 5ft apart. The lights were installed flush above my pavers that were 1.77in height. The stakes were long enough for the lights to stay firmly secured into the ground. They looked amazing! I only turned them on a couple of hours to test at dusk and instantly received compliments from my neighbors.The picture with the Sun still out, the lights are not that yellow. The picture with the Sun down is the correct color appearance of the light. I purchased 3 boxes with a total of 12 lights. I plan to buy other lights from this company to complete my home lighting project. Thanks Hykolity!

Save your money, don't buy these lights. I bought 2 sets of these so a total of 8 lights and it's been a nightmare. Within 3 months, the ground stakes have been snapped off/broken off on its own because the weight of the light is too heavy compared to the cheap ground stake that barely screws in a quarter inch. The design is just poor for this hence why the ground stakes keep breaking. Another light, the bulb just stopped working. So out of 8 lights in 3 months, 4 lights are out of commission. Warranty is useless, I tried contacting manufacturer through email, through their website, and left messages on their phone line, no response. Amazon tried contacting them several times on my behalf, also no response. Nonexistent customer service and cheap product = big waste of money and time. Luckily Amazon refunded me outside of the return window but these things are junk, save your money.

We put 8 wall wash lights on the front of our home and used one to shine up on our big tree! They look beautiful and it was just what we wanted to make our house pop at night. The increased security is also nice! Our old solar lights would die out by midnight, so we are happy these stay on until dawn.

I upgraded my old halogen lighting fixtures but kept the original 600 watt transformer. These seem to be well made and are easy to install. The press-on connectors are much better than my old lights. I still covered them with electrical tape to assure a weather proof connection. The wall washers throw off plenty of light in a useable wide pattern. A set of 4 and a couple spots covered my front yard and entryway quite nicely. Good price. Fast delivery. What’s not to like?
