What is in the nutrient solution? Is it organic? or chemicals?

The kit does not come with a nutrient solution. The nutrient requirements changes based on the plants that are growing and it is best to buy the nutrients that best suit the growing plants. The nutrients available are nothing more than common salts like Sodium, Potassium and phosphorus; which can be found in organic based nutrients.

Is there a base with wheels available?

The base does not come with castors, but we can get a stand with castors and have the tower sit on it.

do you have any recommended seeds/plant types/brands that have been most successful?

Most brands sold at Home Depot or Lowes are just fine. The ones most popular online with good reviews also should work just fine. I don’t want to pin you down with a particular brand as some work best for greens like lettuce while others work better for herbs and fruits. As long as you follow the guidelines (you can reach us through the Nutraponics site) you shd be fine. Thanks

Has there been any updates on adding the lights as an add on option? Or is there any aftermarket options available?

At present, we have towers that have LED grow lights and some that do not. We do not have the lights as a stand-alone accessory that can be added later on Amazon, but we can arrange to ship these to you if you contact us through our online store. Thanks
