The layout of this makes getting to everything extremely easy. It also makes it easy to instruct someone ELSE to retrieve things from the roll should you have your hands occupied or covered in contaminates. Durable canvas material. It rolls up tight even if you have some odd lumps and bulges here and there. There's an elastic band running down the middle between the pockets that makes putting essential, front line items immediately assessable (like gloves or flashlights). The velcro is sufficient, but there's buckles and straps as well should you need more securing to roll up. Excellent product well worth the money.My use for this bag is wilderness medicine, so I have to have a little bit of everything waiting to go. This bag is certainly not spacious enough for products bought from a pharmacy to be directly placed in their original packaging, or even all at once. But hiking of any variety makes space and weight a top priority so I hardly consider that a downside, rather an adequate tool to meet those challenges with. Find some sample size shampoo or lotion bottles or whatever, for example, refill them with you're basic antiseptic, topical numbing, aloe, etc. Little innovations like that make it so you can fit a huge variety of tools and supplies in the roll, personalized to fit your needs. Having it compact means it's easy to keep in my car (being the most likely place I'd encounter people requiring urgent medical attention) when I'm not using it in a wilderness setting.

Really liked this kit. The fact that I can roll it up saves a lot of space in my pack. Now this isn't ideal for a paramedic, not big enough for that kind of use. I am a police officer and either citizens, partners, or myself will get cuts, scrapes, splinters etc... This thing comes in handy. I carry all sorts of bandages, gauze, latex gloves, ammonia strips, tylenol, ib profen, emergency suture kits, quick clot, Sam splint, and athletic tape in this roll kit. Good carry for law enforcement who may need basic first aid in the field, but I wouldn't use this as a life line bag. Good to keep in the trunk of anyone's car and you can't stock it however you'd like. It has several clear pouches that keep everything tightly I place.
