The curvature at the stem
It’s really comfortable to hold in the tuck mode and easy to turn in tuck mode. But if you’re holding the top near the stem it’s already curving down. It is possible to wheelie holding near the stem but it’s a lot more difficult. What I learned is the bike has to befitted to your torso and back stretch to ride drop bars comfortably. If your carrying food in a back pack it’s gonna spill if you go into drop position FYI

Antique-style Path Racer Handlebars
These handlebars turned out to be perfect for a 1930s-style Path Racer bike that I'm building from an old Schwinn. They have curvaceous lines reminiscent of the Lauterwasser or Major Taylor 'bars of that era, but with less drop for street riding. Quality is fine and price cannot be beat. Don't try to run them as Riser 'bars; the grip angles are all wrong for that. And they are not optimal for mounting brake levers and shifters on, either. These would also work well for a Fixed-Gear bike. They are quite narrow with the grips facing almost straight back, right alongside the steer tube. Riding position is similar to bullhorns but with less reach and more drop. And they are beautiful! But they are one-position 'bars. You would not want to spend all day on them.Honestly? For $20 delivered, go for it. If they are wrong for your bike hang them up on the wall and maybe they will inspire a project of some kind.
