I purchased 2 pairs of these scissors on separate occasions. They were great, just right. The 3rd pair I bought were shorter by 1/2 inch. I kept them and tried to make them work but just too short. I thought it was perhaps a mistake so I ordered a 4th pair and once again only 7 inches not 7.5 inches as advertised. I returned them. They are nice scissors and sharp, just not as advertised.

During Covid you might be tempted to cut your own hair. You CAN NOT do it without scissors that are very, very sharp. Be sure to buy barber scissors with fairly long blades to make straight cuts. Works so well we bought another pair. O.K., the vendor will be pleased to learn we bought two more because we misplaced the one we keep in our camping trailer and bought another one to replace it. Months later we found the original had fallen behind a drawer.

With Covid I haven't been able to get to a hairdresser and have had to trim my own hair. These are the best haircutting scissors I have owned. (I have other ones that came in Wahl hair clipping kits and I did buy a pair years ago) Very sharp, easy to use. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Must hold hair strand tight to trim anything - cannot easily cut strands of hair that are not pulled taut with a comb. Even dollar store scissors can do that.There is better out there, these scissors are slightly dull. I may try sharpening them but since they are brand new I dont see why this should happen at all

Good purchase, they worked well to allow me to cut the kids hair, and they enjoyed how the scissors "sounded" the same as the hair salon. I have small hands, but thick fingers, and I had trouble fitting my thumb in the hole, but I made it work.
