The BEST Green Screen Money Can Buy :-)
Don't listen to the haters. This is one of the BEST green screens you can buy. It's made of a stretchy Lycra type material with a felt like pile on the front. When you mount it on a backdrop bar and attach clamps to the side you can stretch it out and COMPLETELY remove ALL the wrinkles. You should NOT need a steamer after using this at least one time. In fact, I don't think I ever used a steamer on this backdrop. When you store it, do NOT fold it. Instead, ball it up loosely and store it in the bag it came in. It's better to have a lot of little wrinkles than a few hard creases because the little wrinkles stretch out easier. This backdrop is not as reflective as the cotton mulsin type especially the ones that have a sheen to them. This material does somewhat absorb the light but you will still have to observe chroma keying best practices of keeping your subject 3-6 feet from the backdrop to reduce spill.Keep in mind your subjects skin or clothing may be reflective even though rid backdrop is not. However you can put subjects closer to this backdrop than most others. I've pulled clean keys off this backdrop with the subject about 1 foot away. One of the benefits of this fabric is that it disperses the light evenly. If you don't over light it you will have very few hot spots, dead spots, or shadows. There are 3 things I don't like about this backdrop. They are compromises that have little to do with the actual function of the backdrop so I'm not removing stars for it. Plus the benefits outweigh the cons.1: I didn't like the GIANT black brand label they sowed on the FRONT of the green screen. I removed that IMMEDIATELY by carefully cutting the thread. Now I see all green.2: This type of material attracts dirt and dust bunnies pretty easily. But that shouldn't be a huge problem with this particular length because it's really too short to stand on for most shoots. This brings me to my next point...1: Sometimes I feel this 10' version is a little too short but I don't shoot chroma key head to toe often. This version is best used for up to 3/4 length photos. If you plan on shooting full length or large groups get the 20' version found below.I personally don't like 20' backdrops in general. 20' is a lot of material and can be hard to handle, clean, and store if you move them around a lot like I do. However, they are the best option for full length unless you can find a 15' version, which is rare.20' of this material will definitely attract more dust.Westcott 132 9x20-Feet Green Screen Background https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004TS0FK4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_d-fAvb1KW7ZHHWhichever version you choose, know that you will have the best chroma screen available in its price range. I like so much I'm thinking of buying the blue version too because sometimes people wear green.

No wrinkles, no shine, easy to transport. It's perfect.
I purchased this backdrop because of a recommendation of it by expert in school photography Chris Wunder, who has extensive experience with green screen photography and tested lots of different green screen materials. It is essentially a large green fleece blanket. If you can find green fleece in this size anywhere else cheaper, than by all means buy that instead of this product. I did some searching on the internet to look for that, but could only find fleece manterial in smaller sizes, and if I were to find fleece in this size, I doubt if it would be much cheaper. Also, it comes in a bag, which is practical for storing and tranporting the backdrop.I now have made hundreds of photos using this backdrop and processed them with specialized green screen software and the software has no issues at all with extracting this background. There is no shine (which is one of the most important features of a green screen backdrop and the main reason that a green paper backdrop is not so good for this) and because it's stretchable, any wrinkles you may have can easily be strechted so they won't show. Just use clamp on the sides as well to do this.Bottom line: for the size, price and perfect suitability for chromakey photography, I find this the best buy.

Best Background Ever!
I'm picky, so when I buy a product, if it works, I write about it. Needed a neutral gray background for a corporate headshot gig, and bought this based on the reviews. To be honest, when I saw how light the gray color was, I panicked. But after testing it in my garage, I realized it's perfect. The fabric is fuzzy so no light reflection and it's stretchy so you can kill wrinkles, which is amazing. You can achieve black, dark gray, medium gray and white with the right light levels. Bought the 9x10 version and happy. All shots were ISO 100. Shutter speed 160 at F 5.6. Used Alien Bee strobe lights 800. I even turned the background white with one Alien Bee 400 at full power.

Very sturdy, perfectly white, and wrinkle-free
The stands this came with are some of the sturdiest light stands I've seen, and the crossbar does great for what it is. Of course, there is some *minor* sag, but if you want to eliminate that 100% you really should be investing in speedrail. The backdrop itself is a great texture that doesn't wrinkle easily, and it can be steamed flat when it does wrinkle. My only complaint is that the drawstring bag this comes in is made of a very similar soft, white material that I don't fully trust to protect the backdrop.

Good backdrop!
Wescott is certainly a name to trust with all things photo related. I had been using seamless paper for my green screen for online Zoom meetings and webinars. I liked the crisp key, but I was getting a little spillage and some cast reflections, and it was distracting with two large, happy dogs creating thunder by beating the paper with their tails. I had seen other cloth screens, but this Wescott is a bit more substantial. I hung it up, the wrinkles fell out, the keying is good, and it even improved my mic by absorbing some room sound. I'm using three setups: MacBook Air M1, and iMac 24 M1, and an ATEM Mini Pro with a Sony a6000/Sigma 16mm 1.4; I use two Godox LED260P panels for my lights. This backdrop was quite a bit more than others, but as I said earlier, Wescott is a safe, go-to name, and they came through again! I will most likely pick up black and gray backdrops, too. Looks really easy to manage shadows - they just suck in light!
