Great product and easy to install.
Wrap was as described. I soaked it for about 2 hours in an ice cream bucket full of water. Easy to work with, held it's shape (didn't fray or break). Metal ties work great as well, especially when using a metal tie tool to tighten. I haven't installed the pipe in the car yet but so far I'm please.For those complaining about it flaking, the fibers getting everywhere, and being itchy here are my suggestions: soak the wrap (the included instructions tell you to do this), where thick PVC gloves or equivalent, where eye protection, utilize a space that can get wet/messy.A lot of these negative reviews are user error. Watch a YouTube how-to video and get to work.Side note...if you think you have enough, you don't. Measuring via a string does not work due to the overlap you need. Better to soak the whole roll and not worry about having extra, because you probably won't have extra. This pipe took almost a whole roll. Pipe dimensions were 2.5 inch OD and roughly 2 1/2 feet of covered pipe. 1 90 degree bend and one 45 degree bend. Each bend utilizes more wrap due to holding the overlap on the outer edge.

Watch some YouTube videos on how to install this, and then buy nice latex gloves
As I type this review, I am still pulling glass strands out of my hands (ouch). But the wrap went on well and there were no surprises to speak of.About half of x1 roll did the headers on my Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird and I wrapped them while still on the bike. I expect that they will keep the heat away from the radiator when at stoplights. Just in my initial test, I was able to bring the temps down significantly at idle by turning on the fan. 1st time I've ever dropped temp while sitting still!ARTR was nice enough to include some latex gloves, but they tore while I was working and I still ended up with glass fibers all over my hands. Go buy yourself a really nice set of latex gloves, or risk the curse of 1000 pin pricks for the next day.5 stars and I may just buy some additional metal zip ties and do our CB1000R headers as well.NOTE: It WILL smoke for about 7 minutes when you fire up your bike after install. Completely normal.

Goes further than expected
I got the double roll pack because I wanted to be sure I had enough to cover the entire length of my 2003 stock pipes. Not only was one roll enough to do so, but I even made a couple mis cuts and STILL had some left over, along with the entire other roll that didn’t even get opened. I’m going to keep it in case I need/want to redo it in the future, or get new pipes or something. Pretty straight forward stuff.. get it wet, take your time and get nice clean wraps. Works well and looks even better. Didn’t end up using the metal zip ties that come with as I opted for hose clamps, but it came with plenty of them! WEAR GLOVES and maybe even a mask, the fibers are pretty gnarly. They will smoke and smell kinda funny the first few runs, but I’d say after the first few days it has all cleared up. Super happy with it, would recommend!

Itchy, but effective
I used this to wrap my downpipe on my turbo charged miata. The driver side would get very hot during 30min drives. The transmission tunnel was always warm to the touch, through the carpet. After wrapping the downpipe, I barely feel any heat on the transmission tunnel now.Cons: This stuff is very itchy. I recommend wearing some neoprene/nitrile gloves when handling it. Something you can throw away. Do not handle this stuff with bare hands, or even leather gloves/mechanics gloves. The fibers will embed into the gloves, making them itchy to wear in the future. Also, every time I work near the wrapped downpipe, I get itchy. This is a product of the material, not necessarily the brand. If looking to wrap a motorcycle exhaust, I would look for a product that has these fibers under control. Just something to keep in mind.

Price=quality
If your expecting less fiberglass flying around than the normal wrap don't. It looks good when wrapped but I was cover in fiberglass when finished
