Sunset over Paris
This is a lovely 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, extremely colourful and challenging in parts. I really enjoyed making it but was dissapointed on finishing it to find I was two pieces missing and also had 2 duplicate pieces so that the box did contain 1000 pieces but not the correct 1000 pieces to complete the puzzle. I contacted Gibsons who said there were unable to supply the missing two pieces as each puzzle is cut differently and offered to send me a whole new puzzle. While I am grateful that Gibsons quickly tried to resolve this matter I do feel that their puzzles should have batch numbers so that they can supply a replacement puzzle from the same batch numbers so that missing pieces can be found and whole new puzzles do not need to be redone .

What a joy to do. Just Love, love, love it! The best Gibson's puzzle yet. Brilliant vibrant colours and a beautiful Parisienne setting. Gibson's puzzles are the best. Good quality pieces and such interesting scenes. I have never had a piece missing, not like some other companies jigsaws, which is always annoying. More like this please.

Missing pieces and two pieces not connected with jigsaw
I was enjoying this jigsaw but very disappointed that 5 pieces are missing and I have 2 pieces that dont belong to the puzzle.I thought the jigsaws where brand new?

There's a but.
There are good pictures by competent artists in the Gibson range. They make a point that they use 100% recycled puzzle board. Laudable I am sure however there is a but. The card is thick and has an annoying habit of de-laminating. Either the picture lifting from the backing board or the backing board layers separating. Frustrating to say the least and they are not the cheapest of puzzles. I had a particularly bad example (umpteen pieces coming apart) and complained to Gibson who without argument sent a replacement.
