I used it to replace a 600 watt light my Dad had on a homemade stand. It uses a lot less electricity and just as bright 🌞.

I bought several and put them on a three hole light cover on the corners of my home. with three I get at least 270 degrees of coverage and a ton of bright white light. They come with only a one hole light cover for a 4" light box. If you arrange them properly, you can install three pointed in different directions. BE ADVISED: The knuckles on the arms can allow water into the light depending on how they are oriented. If the part of the knuckle going to the light is oriented like a cupped hand, you can get water in the light. I had to drain one of mine by loosening the glass cover, but thankfully no damage occurred other than a tripped circuit breaker. The simple solution is to put outdoor sealant on the joint or place the light under an eave where it will not get wet. Overall I'm very happy with mine and they have been used occasionally now for a year with no issues aside from the water intrusion in one of them.

These really can't be beat for the money. I decided to try these based on a very positive customer service experience with the same company on some remote control light timers. I received two of those with the same frequency on the remote and they could not have given me a better experience, basically sent a new one with a different frequency and trusted me to send back the one I already had. Imagine that? Was able to continue using the one until the replacement arrived, no fault of theirs, and they covered the freight. Like I said, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! These appear to be very well built and I bought two of them for my driveway and installed them into existing fixtures. When these came on for the first time, I almost needed sunglasses! They are so bright and do such a nice job. Only complaint I have is that my neighbors probably don't like them because I'm pretty sure the bedroom near my driveway gets bright enough to read whenever they come on. I will say that regardless of that made up complaint (they have never actually complained) these will certainly be a major deterrent to anyone breaking into my cars!

The light does give off a very bright white light just like a 500 watt halogen but as you get farther out the white light seems to fall off and not illuminate as well as the soft white halogen. Other than that it works great

This was a great replacement to an old high sodium mercury light.This is super bright and energy efficient.

I had a 500 watt halogen above my garage which had a bad ballast and was not worth taking apart and fixing. I replaced that unit with this one and a) this LED unit screwed right into my existing hardware (old unit was installed 16 years ago), and b) my perception is that this LED unit actually puts out more light than that 500 watt halogen. Very glad I made the purchase.
