Purus Labs NOXYGEN Powder, 40 Servings (Unflavored)

I like to take 2 scoops of Noxy before hitting the gym, but I'm 5'-8" 240lbs and have been lifting seriously since I was 15. I've used supplements for a long time and tried pretty much whatevers hit the market, heck I was even a sponsored athlete till I became a father! I tell you this because this is hands down a must have for the advanced lifter and knows what a massive pump feels like. This stuff kicks in by the time you've warmed up and is in full effect after your first working set. The more you work, the more it works and continues throughout your whole workout. I still use a regular pre-WO with caffeine, arginine, and citrulline to give me energy and more pump pathways. But a regular pre-WO without this stuff does not produce the same results. I highly recommend Noxy, more blood flow filling your muscles the more nutrients are fueling growth. Its as easy as that! Great product, and a staple in my supplement regiment.

I got this for my hubby. He lifts 4 to 5 times a week and is 55 going on 56. he had been using L-Citruline and Creatine. He states that this stuff is FAR better and gives him WAY more pump and longer lasting. In fact he says if you split the dosage into 2 parts as morning and night you NEVER loose the pump! Sure like the old days of steroids if you quit taking you loose it....well this may be the case here BUT if you hydrate correctly like he says with a protein supplement like Protein 2O or simple ol' milk that your muscles will retain and grow! It makes sense too......think about it........he has seen good gains that he keeps and strength increases as well. When recovering he takes an extra dose on the off work out days to deal with the normal muscle soreness. I can tell you first hand as an eye witness that this first month of him taking this that the gains are REAL!!

This stuff is awesome. It's meant to be used as an additive, not a pre workout supplement alone. It's essentially a very potent nitrogen oxide booster that helps achieve better muscle pumps. The n.o. boosters help to increase the speed of your cardio vascular cycle in order to circulate more blood into the muscles. There are no stimulants in this product so it will not give you an energy boost in itself. You have to add it to your pre workout. I've tried it with defcon1 and NO shotgun. Defcon1+NOxygen gave me the best complete workout, but NO shotgun +NOxygen gave me the best initial energy boost. This is flavorless, so you can add it to any flavored supplement. Just as a warning, the powder is very sticky and clumpy. This is because of the glycerine found in the supplement. Most companies don't use glycerine because it makes the powder clump up so bad, but Purus labs has found a very positive result from it. This is a great product that i plan to continue to use.

So let me preface this by giving you my body stats:6'0" height188 pounds15% body fatI have never used a stand-alone pump product before, just pre-workouts. I am currently using Pre-Jym as my pre-workout supplement along with Noxygen. I am about halfway through my tub of Noxygen and I'd like to give you all my first impressions.So let me start off by saying that Noxygen is a pretty damn good product.**If you don't feel like reading on further and you're on the fence about whether you should buy this product or not, I'd have to say, I recommend it.**I haven't tried Noxygen as a standalone and I don't think many people will. Most everyone will use this with their pre-workout as a stack for increased vasodilation. I really like Noxygen and the pumps that I got were UNREAL. I felt like my arms and legs were exploding out of my skin during my workout. I'd go so far as to say that it got almost uncomfortable towards the end of my workouts. It felt SKIN SPLITTING.However, that is no reason not to try it. I use only 1 scoop per workout and I have gotten incredible results from that.The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the TASTE. While there is no actually taste to the product itself, it does create a weird consistency with whatever else you mix it with. My preworkout tasted very "creamy" if that's the word and that is kind of disgusting. Of course, that's not going to stop me from using Noxygen, but I had to say it.I give this product 4 stars out of 5 and would definitely recommend it for someone who wants increased vasodilation during workouts.

Absolutely fantastic product; it does what it's designed to do, and does it very well. Intended to be used in conjunction with a pre-workout supplement, it provides fantastic pump and enhanced nutrient delivery during a workout. Having used it in conjunction with several varied pre-workout supplements, I can say that it provides a noticeable difference during training. I've used it in conjunction with the following: Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Pre-workout, Cellucor C4 Extreme, and MusclePharm's Assault. My personal preference in terms of performance and feel-good-factor was the combination of Noxygen with O.N.'s Gold Standard Pre-workout. In terms of its qualities when mixed, it has zero flavor, meaning it doesn't add any conflicting taste to your pre-workout, and it mixes very well, with zero clumping. As it notes on the container itself, the product visibly clumps while dry in the container, due to the glycerine sugar alcohols. This is perfectly normal, so don't let it throw you off. All in all, a great addition to your favorite pre-workout, I highly recommend it.

The clumping is understandable for glycerol products, but this has issues. The clumps start to get sticky and moist and it is tough to tell how much you are getting even with an accurate scale. I would have to get a knife to cut pieces off of the scooper. It honestly has a good pump formula but it is nearly impossible to tell how much of the ingredients you are actually getting.
