This is a review of 'Black Swan Spearmint Leaf Capsules - 500mg Hormonal Balance Digestive Health Fatigue Stress Relief Support Antioxidant Formula Natural Supplement - 30 Caps 1 Month'.This is a 30 day supply of spearmint leaf capsules. I have been recommended this in the past for acne so it was interesting to try. The capsules are the regular size and are easy to swallow. I noticed it says on the packaging you can take 1-2 a day but this would only last 15 days if you did that. Despite this, I enjoyed taking the supplement even though it's too early to see if it helps my skin.

Bought this in hopes it would benefit my skin as spearmint tea is meant to be good for skin but I don't like the taste so opted for the capsule version, I have acne prone skin and noticed I was getting cystic breakouts along my jaw, I'm thinking it's the other ingredients in this besides the spearmint, I think silica is in this and i may have reacted badly to it. As soon as I stopped taking this the breakouts stopped.

No taste in the capsules which is good. I bought for digestion and seems to help.

The ingredients listed are spearmint leaf extract, rice flour, calcium palmitate and silica.There’s no mention of the capsule ingredients, which I can only assume is Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) which is a soluble semisynthetic polymer (gelatine-free) as the product packaging states suitable for vegetarians, but this is an assumption based on the look, feel and taste of the capsule itself. If it is HPMC, then they should really be informing people as it is not a natural substance and people have the right to check into the compounds used due to preferences (the Codex Alimentarius entry for HPMC is E464 for information).The capsule contents are an off-white colour which is to be expected given the listed contents. Unfortunately there’s no measurements other than the capsules are 500mg. 500mg of what exactly? How much active ingredient is there? How much of the contents is rice flour? A small taste test of the power from one of the capsules reveals no mint taste of any description, which is strange given there is supposed to be an extract of mint. I obviously haven’t subjected these to any sort of laboratory testing, so I’m making observations rather than claims here.The manufacturers details on the package leads to Body Genix Ltd. The company sells a similar product on their ‘vitsonline’ website under their ‘Body Genix’ brand, no mention of the Black Swann name, and has just as may unanswered questions.Due to the lack of information on the product packaging, coupled with the rather short shelf life (see date info above) I can’t recommend this product. There’s more questions than answers as a result of receiving this product, and any ingestible that has a questionable content list should not be ingested in my opinion. The most worrying unanswered question is how much calcium is in the product? This is important because it is possible to overdose if taken with other supplements with the possibility of causing hypercalcemia, a condition you do not want to go through…

I am taking these daily and have noted some improvement in my digestive function during that period. (Of course I cannot claim that is definitely due to this product. But all the same, I feel better than I did before.)The package is a convenient pouch (no more little bottles) that contains 30 x 500mg capsules.They are easy to swallow and leave no aftertaste.Would I buy them again? perhaps I would.

🥰+ these seem to work just as well as my previous spearmint supplement, but of course your results may vary+ no smell or aftertaste+ easy to swallow+ personally I haven't experienced any unpleasant side effects+ made in the UKYou get a 30 day supply if taking one a day and 15 days when 2 a day.

These did nothing to help, so save your money for something else.
