I’m very pleased with this quality of this supplement. I use several products from Pure and can tell the difference between before I started taking them, and now. This is helping me detox from estrogen dominance and it’s helping me sleep better too, as a side effect.

Every woman should be taking this supplement! It was not recommended to me by a gynecologist (all of the gyns I've had have personally been terrible and talked me into 2 unnecessary myomectomies for uterine fibroids) but rather my exceptional Integrative GP. I was suffering from extremely large and multiple uterine fibroids. The pain and swelling were unbearable and I was reaching the point of giving in to the terrible advise of undergoing yet a third procedure. This time the gyn wanted me to undergo a complete hysterectomy. Which I refused to do. Within DAYS of taking DIMDetox I began noticing immediate relief of the pain and swelling AND bleeding. It completely normalized my periods.Contrary to some of the feedback in other reviews and answered questions, this supplement does NOT reduce estrogen levels. It simply helps the liver to detox out the toxic bi-products of estrogen, which is what actually causes the issues.It also does not have a bad smell at all.I have Hoshimotos, which means I can't ingest cruciferous vegetables. Even though this product is derived from cruciferous vegetables product did not aggravate this condition.While it did not eliminate the fibroids, it has prevented them from getting larger (along with a sugar and carb free diet).As an added bonus, I have battled acne my entire life. I have not had a single pimple since starting DIMDetox. What I would have given to have this supplement for this purpose alone decades ago!I tried a couple other brands of DIM which were slightly cheaper. They made me sick and didn't work. Just an FYI.I have no monetary relationship with Pure Encapsulations and I have never written a review on Amazon before. But this product has saved my life. I felt compelled and grateful to write a review on behalf of this product.

2019 update: I still swear by these supplements and DIM Detox in particular. I took them for about a year then took a break last year when I felt like the supplements effectiveness had worn off. This year I’ve noticed acne coming back so I re-subscribed to my supplements. The most recent bottle I ordered has a VERY funky smell, and I can hardly stand to take them. However, it feels like it’s still doing the same quick job on my hormonal acne which is my top priority, so I won’t dock any stars for the unpleasant taste/smell of this bottle. I should also mention that before ordering this brand again, I tried two other brands of DIM, supposedly stronger doses with bio-perine in them for better absorption - and honestly I didn’t feel like they did anything at all... so I’m back to Pure Encapsulations! I never did end up able to conceive but my husband and I accepted that and moved on :)Original review: Finally!! A REAL fix for my hormonal acne. I've been taking these for a month now and have seen such a huge improvement in my skin among many other things.I’ve never had acne problems other than a random cyst or two on my chin around shark week. Suddenly in June 2017, age 28 my chin broke out and then it just kept on breaking, getting worse every day. My face was COVERED within 6 weeks, hot to the touch, itchy, new whiteheads and cysts popped up several times a day. I was in tears daily as you can imagine. I tried literally thousands of dollars worth of face washes & remedies, and glued my eyeballs to every acne forum I could find, trying everything that was suggested. Still, as fast as one would dry up, 2 more would appear.Thank goodness for the internet, since doctors were no help - I read about DIM and a few other supplements on a hormonal acne forum, and finally decided to stop murdering my face with topical chemicals and start treating the imbalance with these supplements instead.I noticed my acne drying up within the first week of taking them. Within a month I no longer had any active breakouts, just a lot of red scarring - but I could cover up with makeup at least. 3 months later still pimple-free and a lot of the redness had faded.PMS: My period actually got a little longer (went from 3 days to 5 days, but I didn't mind because it was incredibly smooth, very little pain, and came a day early instead of being late/irregular as usual.Dosage- I started out taking 1 morning & 1 evening but noticed better results when I upped to 3 a day, morning lunch & evening.I think the DIM is incredibly important, but I also take several other supplements that all work together, explained below.I take 1 Vitex 400mg (by Nature's Way) every time I take the DIM... am, lunch & pm. This is also incredible for balancing hormones. I feel like these 2 combined are my skin's saving grace.I take an extra milk thistle supplement (1000mg by EBYSU) to help my liver process everything, which is really important with the DIM because it is sending all the excess hormones to your liver to detox them out of your body, and if you're liver is overloaded then the DIM won't be nearly as effective. This DIM Detox is better than other DIM on the market because it also contains supplements like milk thistle and calcium d-glucarate that really help the process, but I take the extra milk thistle because I've never detoxed my liver before so I'm sure it could use the extra help for a while.I also take a probiotic once daily (Fortify 50 billion by Nature's Way) to improve digestion. Along the same lines as the liver detox, if you're not regularly going to the bathroom, then the toxic waste that your liver is producing, will sit in your intestines and could get absorbed back into your bloodstream.Another note is that all these supplements I'm taking are reportedly awesome for infertility due to hormonal issues. My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years with one MC in year 1 and nothing since then... it wasn't until my face erupted that I realized I had a serious hormonal imbalance. With my cycle now balanced, I have hope that I'll be able to conceive soon. If I should be so lucky, i will continue to take the DIM+Vitex through the first trimester, then wean off, since I have read many accounts of people stopping the DIM+Vitex as soon as they get their BFP and then they ended up losing it because of the imbalance suddenly coming back. Apparently it's okay to wean off after the first trimester because around 12 weeks, your placenta takes over hormone control.** I'm not a doctor so please consult yours and/or do your own research. I am just thrilled that I finally found what is working for me, and thought my experiences may help someone else.

Clean ingredients and a trusted brand. These detox pills were recommended by my holistic doctor to help me sleep. They worked very well. I began to sleep much better after about 2 weeks and my joint pain went away completely.

This supplement is great, I take in the evening after dinner- It has helped with PMS symptoms and helped to clear my skin!

I was recommended to take 2 capsules a day (one a breakfast, one at dinner) of DIM Detox by my doctor who is treating me with testosterone. I take the capsules apart and pour contents into a large spoon with olive oil. I believe this works best taking it this way.My E2 level (estradiol) was always around 31-35 at trough before DIM Detox. After 6 weeks on DIM Detox (2 per day), my next E2 blood test at trough was 21.Needless to say, it works and I feel it!

Pricey, though. This helps your body metabolize estrogen. One of the best products out there I've found for this.

I have bought this brand because it’s one of the best on the market. I ordered the DIM detox. When I saw the Amazon truck arrive I went downstairs to get my package and it began to blow away. There was a hole in the bag and the product must have come out in the transportation or on the truck cause I looked all over the yard for it and nothing was found. I don’t know why the Amazon driver didn’t notice this. I called Pure Encapsulations and left a voicemail of what happened. This morning when I woke they left me a voicemail and are refunding me my money. I honestly thought I was going to have to switch brands but because of their quick response and refund for Amazons mistake I have given them 5 stars and will keep purchasing from this company. You get what you pay for and cheaper supplements have bad fillers in them and are not top quality like Pure Encapsulations. Customer for life!!!!
