Simple, effective, elegant, and worth every penny!
I waited a long time to get this knife; and it wasn’t an easy decision to do so. I have a lot of different knives, and usually float in the $40-$60 range - never anything that costs this much. But, after living the Baby Banter so much, I thought - why not?Even with the simplistic design, this is extremely comfortable in the hand. It’s long enough to keep control, wide enough so your fingers don’t feel bunched up, and has the prefect amount of grip. The blade’s factory edge is razor sharp and had retained its edge nicely. As for resharpening, we shall see but I don’t expect it to be an issue.Fact of the matter is, you can be just fine getting the $50-$60 knives and they will do all the same things. But if you want to step up in quality, and if little nuances are what makes a knife for you, this is a very good way to dip your toe in the deep-end

Solid and elegant
I wanted a trusty and solidly built little knife to carry to work. The Banter is perfect. Great blade shape and very sharp out the box. The handle is grippy and it’s aesthetically nice also. The action was ok but has gotten better as it’s been worked in a little. WE makes great knives and this one didn’t disappoint. Some may not like the liner lock on it and I do understand why… I don’t have a problem with it.

Great knife!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this knife in march of 23. I’ve carried it almost everyday since then. More importantly I use it almost everyday for work. I’m an elevator mechanic and I’m extremely hard on knives. I’m always working in the heat so it’s constantly soaked with sweat. I’m constantly covered in dust, hydraulic oil, metal shaving and wood shaving. Pretty much everything you don’t want getting In the folding knife. Everything around me is either stainless steel, iron or copper. I’m constantly dinging the blade on something while working. With that that being said, it has held up phenomenally! It still snaps open as quick as the day I got it. The s35v steel holds up great and with a little practice it’s not terrible to sharpen. It’s the perfect size for a great EDC work knife. I highly recommend!

Excellent modern & classy pocket knife
I'm a female with smaller hands and usually wear small to medium-sized gloves as a reference. For me, this is the perfect pocket knife. It's lightweight, fits my hand well, feels well balanced, the blade opens and closes easily, the scales are beautiful, the clip feels secure, and it's comfortable in my pocket. I work in an office, and while I'm sure it's up to the task, I didn't get this knife for self-defense but opening boxes, mail, and occasionally cutting some fruit & cheese.

Was unsure, but decided to commit
A lot of feedback on this knife is that it’s too plain for knife guys and too expensive for a non-knife enthusiast. I agree with both stances to an extent. It’s a plain and simple knife, but it does what it’s designed to do very well, if opens super smooth and it’s enjoyable because of the ceramic bearings in the pivot. It’s very lightweight. The blade steel is above average quality, for the non enthusiast. The blade design is clean and simple, due to the thin profile, it’s an outstanding slicing knife. On the nitpicks side, the blade is rather thin from what I might be used to and if prying (which realistically, why would you) it looks like it might be a failure point. Another point of contention is the scales not being recessed to get better purchase on the liner lock when closing. This issue was what actually had me considering returning the knife. I decided to modify the scales and see if it could make it work. So I took a small sharpe blade and from the inside of the liner opposite the liner lock, I started to cut and scrape. To my surprise, the amount of material that needed to be removed was far less than I expected. The knife appears to be bone stock and unmodified. The aesthetics have not been degraded and the function is better than expected. If someone is on the fence about getting a better quality pocket knife and willing to see why people will pay around or over $100 for a knife, this is the one that will convert. It’s got great looks, great size, great function and performance, and most of all it won’t scare folks when you pull it out to use it. It’s a friendly tool. And don’t be afraid to scratch some of the scale off to improve the access to the liner lock. This can be easily accomplished with a nail file or emory board in a minute or two.

Nice Knife so Far
I seldom give 5 stars, unless the item is perfect. This one is close, but not there for me.Pros - Great steel; clean build; light weight; reasonable price; good opening action; good lockup; no blade wiggle; nice grippy scales; easy to deploy after releasing some pocket clip tension; small sizeCons - Blade shape is too fat; no ability to change pocket clip side; zipper case and excess paperwork not needed; liner lock not easily accessible; small size; not sure how long the black blade finish will last; not real sharp out of the boxThis knife will join my EDC rotation. Will update if anything changes....
