Metal Earth Premium Series Eiffel Tower 3D Metal Model Kit Fascinations

Nice little model of La Tour Eiffel. Simple to assemble with surprising detail.

The model is definitely not for those without patience with fragile objects. It's semi-difficult to put together because of it's fragility and the end product is so beautiful! The instruction is pretty clear as well.

It is beautiful. It is quality. Yet, it is very tedious. Extremely so. The tools "really" necessary to put this together should be offered as an add-on option for those who don't assemble models very often and would lack the tools. If you don't have the correct tools, it will be useless to even attempt in our humble opinions. We purchased this with Christmas money to have fun building a model for a school project. It took 2 days, 2 adults and 2 teens to build it. We each had our area of "expertise" and thus it took a village to have the parts become a whole. We are capable and mechanical so it is not that we can't handle a project involving small parts and directions.We used a heavy-duty jewelers tweezers, magnifying glass that was lit and several beading pliers/tools. Those who have shared that the filigree bends easily....we verify it does. Those who have shared the tabs can be difficult to secure, this is accurate and those who mentioned the metal can "misshape" while building...you bet it does. We also had some tabs "snap" off. You get one, maybe two, times to get it right, then "snap". All this said...if you are a patient person who is not a hurry about anything, is mechanically minded with an arsenal of tools and mostly if you are really into models and are adept at working with small parts and want a challenge....this may just be the model for you try. It truly is quite beautiful. Finished project was about 5"- 5.5" tall.I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give it....just because we are not hard core model builders...I didn't want the rating to suffer. Took one star off because I think a list of tools (and because it is amazon, the option to purchase them) and some extra information on how to bend the tabs so they stay secured the first time put together would be very helpful. There are slots and tabs on both sides of each piece and it is a bit of puzzle and balance act to get them to stay put while you are securing the opposite side. Overall, this is a beautiful model and I wish we were more into them because these look like a piece of small art when you are done!

This was a fun build for my 12 year old daughter. After a bit of help at the start, she did the rest (mostly) on her own using just her fingers and the included sturdy tweezers. Assembly requires patience, attention, and dexterity.

Amazingly detailed. Used this for a forced perspective shot in a video and its silhouette was uncannily similar to the real Eiffel Tower. It now sits as a small table decoration in my office.

I have dozens of official Metal Earth kits which are excellent. I can't speak for the quality of this particular model, because I received a knock off Piececool. Be careful of your seller, mine claimed to sell genuine kits from Fascinations but did not deliver.I sure an official set is well worth your money.

These pieces are very small and may not be ideal for children. This was a gift for a 10 year old who loves this stuff but he did have some trouble handling some of the pieces.

Just what it is, needs some cardboard backing because it is shipped in a shipping envelope. End result is it is very susceptible at being bent or like mine the metal being rolled which is a slow and annoying fix to get it sit flat again. Aside from that quite fine.
