Buh-Bye Ants!
Great product! I mix 1 TBS with 4 TBS sugar and 2 cups of water. I leave it in disposable coffee cups (6) with lids around infestations and within half a day the ants are gone. Also took care of a termite issue by soaking wood strips for a few days then putting inside plastic bottle with holes which I then buried throughout the backyard by the house. No more round sawdust in that area of concern.Only have to use when the neighbors call a service which ends up displacing ants to the rest of the neighborhood. Noticed little baby ants that would bite and so I left out jerky and they went for it once I can get enough to show up that is when I make the mix. This stuff is great, they take it back to the nest and it takes out the whole colony. Slowly but surely. Do the neighborhood a favor.

it works if you modify how to use it
I followed the directions and mixed this powder in my weed/bug sprayer with the appropriate amount of water. I knocked down the termite tubing on my exterior foundation then I sprayed as directed. Within 24 hour the termites were back up and running boring holes in my home.I decided it was time for some tough love. This time I mixed a small amount of water with the powder and make a thick solution. Almost like a frosting. I mixed it with a paint brush, knocked down the termite tunnels and this time "painted" the treatment on. Nice and thick - it literally looked like a glazed donut frosting when I was done. This application seems to have done the trick. It's been weeks now and the little wood chompers have not returned. So I conclude, this product works, but requires a heavier application then the direction imply.

Stick With Boric Acid, Instead
Purchased this to address termite activity in a vintage piece of furniture. Unfortunately, this did not completely work. I noticed some slowed activity after a few days, but it took old-school boric acid to finally address the problem. That was a cheaper and faster solution with similar application processes.

Easy to mix and apply with garden sprayer
I only needed a half gallon so poured half the 16 oz container for a half gallon of water. Shook the closed sprayer bottle for several minutes to mix and had not problem spraying cracks running along the garage floor at the foundation footers of the house. This after encountering subterranean termites that were feasting on some cardboard boxes (seems like it was dessert for them, not damage to surrounding framing) but plenty of tubes. 3rd encounter with "subs" in 15 yeas in this house so had the whole house treated by a pro termite company, drilling holes every 18" about 12" from the house in all the concrete and injecting a termite killer. I didn't feel this would get to them quick enough so bought this Harris powder (based on positive reviews) to soak the cracks for immediate effect. Time will tell. One not of caution though, the product is literally a powder and with just the slightest breeze caused it to disperse into the air as I was pouring it into the sprayer bottle. I was wearing a mask (due to Covid-19 & my age being a bit up there and I felt that it did the job on the dust. Also wore safety goggles, nitril gloves, long sleeve shirt & pants as recommended by the label. Will likely use it again, a much better termite solution than the aerosol products that foam and have an awful smell. This left no odor and no visible residue after drying.

Chap, Easy and Effective
I have a dead tree inside my rented space that is full of termites. I sprayed the solution (powder + water) during the day. At about sunset (time of the day when termites come out), thousands upon thousands of termites came out (I had to sleep somewhere else)... that I discovered the other holes where they actually exit apart from the tree. The next day I had about a 1-inch thick layer of termites on my floor. I also sprayed the solution on the other exit points. The next day, no termites at all.The solution probably didn't kill the mother termite but this is a cheap and quick way to get rid of them (I previously had my place evaluated by the termite experts, I was being charged ridiculous amounts of money hundreds-thousands of dollars to get rid of termites). Like I said, this is probably not a long term solution but it's far cheaper than the professional options that promise to get rid of my house termites but only guarantee it for 2 years.

Seems to work great on termites.
I mixed it in a spray bottle with water like it says to do.. I sprayed it directly on termites in my storage room and within 30 mins I couldn’t see any termite activity. I didn’t mix the whole thing with a whole gallon of water like it says to do. I just put a few spoonfuls in a spray bottle and put the rest water and shook it. That seemed to do the trick. Beware, this is a very toxic chemical and even states on the back that you need to dispose of it properly and wear PPE while handling.
