I'm a senior and can't throw a ball very far for my Labradoodle. I tried a larger size of this Chuckit and it still hurt you shoulder to launch it, plus it didn't go very far when thrown by me. But this smaller version goes sends the small ball quite far it has a lot of bounce, & not only that but it floats too. My only complaint is that due to its small size it can get lost in the taller grass next to the lake.

The media could not be loaded. and so do I. I can use it effortlessly. It allows me to throw the ball at a great distant without hurting my arm. It comes with only one ball but it fits perfectly with the small balls at petsmart. 10/10 recommend

I ordered the wrong size for my dogs a German Shepherd and a golden retriever. When I finally got the right size, it worked perfect.

Love the size of this Chuck.It. It’s perfect for smaller dogs. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is for some reason it doesn’t go far, seems like it sticks a little bit. It may get better overtime but so far I’m a little disappointed in that otherwise they are great fun for dogs.

The media could not be loaded. I recently discovered these Chuckit sticks on one of my WAG (like Rover) walks and I really enjoyed using it once I got the hang of it. I honestly don’t understand why this is a frequently returned item. This is super worth it. Especially if you have a dog that loves to play fetch, like my brother‘s dog, she will play fetch for at least two hours. Our backyard is not huge so I didn’t need the longer stick plus she’s about only about 10-12 lbs. Read the item’s description and figure out which stick is best for you and your dog. This Chuckit Stick is Khia approved!

I was disappointed with this product. The ball that comes with it is very small and there is only one. I bought tennis balls to go with it but it's too small for tennis balls. It's of no use to me, I donated it to the SPCA.

So, I've used a few throwsticks, and they're generically great tools; this one isn't.The cup for the ball is structured such that if you use good throwing form, the handle doesn't flex enough to give it a good release. The cup for the top is also too tight for most balls. To adapt mine, because I didn't feel like returning it, I removed ~.65" of material from the top edge; it throws correctly now.There's better options, buy them. If you're decent at throwing a ball and try to throw "correct", this will spike the ball right into the ground. Other throw sticks don't have this problem. The same happened when others tried using it. This thing needs a re-work and needed tested before being finalized, it's unfortunate.

These are great! Throw the balls farther for your dog without killing your shoulders! Love them!
