They beat the cheap plastic sights!
These "backup" sights are excellent. They fit on a Picatinney rail quite securely and stay flat when not in use. The rear sight has adjusts for windage and the front sight adjusts elevation with the use of a front sight tool (not included). These sights are easy to use and once sighted in at a range, hold zero quite effectively. All metal construction makes them a little more than the plastic ones, but UTG makes a more rugged product and well worth the price.

Great buy.
I was looking for a pair of backup sights for my Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22. When I bought it it only came with a red dot. But I wanted to get a pair of backup sights for it. I've always been a fan of iron sights so I searched and searched and searched. My brother told me to try Amazon so I did and for three days I look at every single iron sights that they had. I came across the utg low profile sites. It had very good reviews and the price is right so I figured I would give it a shot.(no pun intended) they were very easy to put on and I took it to the range. Took my red dot off and I can't believe how amazing they were they kept zero true through the whole 500 rounds I used. Put my firearm away went back to the range a week later and they was still true these sites are amazing Best Buy I have ever made would recommend them highly to anybody that is looking for a great pair of backup iron sights.

Same sights as my $1500 AR!
I needed a set of irons for a budget AR pistol build. Did a bit of Googling and found that most iron sights are plastic, or fixed, and I wanted aluminum, and the ability to flip up/down, while still staying within budget for the build.I have another AR, a Springfield Saint Edge in 5.56 (16 inch barrel), and I really like the iron sights that came with it, but figured that they would be really expensive. To my surprise, these UTG iron sights are exactly the same set that came with my $1500 AR, go figure. With all that said, they work great for anything out to 100yds for me. 50 yds and in, they are even better. They are well built, have a positive lock, and I am able to get about 2-3 MOA at 50 yds.

These are great. I bought them form my AR9mm build and ...
These are great. I bought them form my AR9mm build and love them. I actually prefer them to my magpul mbus sights. Definitly worth it. I will probably buy another pair soon just for backupUpdate: they have lost the ability to lock up just a little amount of pressure will have them fold down. The initial quality was nice but the fact that they did not last very long being all metal sights is disappointing.

Good value, quality sights.
Excellent high quality sights for my AR. I did not want the expensive “plastic” sights… you know the ones. These mounted and adjusted well, holding zero perfectly and they look great too! Definitely recommend these and they’re a good value in my opinion.

Quality in a small box
It is receded so it really is low profileAll steel , good mechanismsWould recommendI replaced the bulky back up irons and the difference is noticeable

Better than plastic sights
I personally have had no issues with mine. I use them as backups. However I sighted them with no problems and I can hit up to 300meters pretty decent. They seem to hold their zero as well. So not bad overall.

Not rock solid when flipped up
Good for a budget side I would not recommend them for heavy use even though they are all metal actually the magpul Mbus generation 2 is a better quality site.
