I love MSG
I always thought MSG was bad from what what I heard in certain media. I avoided it for years because I have food sensitivities.I did some research on it and realized it's not really what it was made out to be. I love it! Of course I use it within balance and it's understandable some people may have allergies to it, as people can have allergies to other types of foods and spices, but I was excited to realize that this wasn't one of my allergies. I keep some in my pantry and use it to enhance flavors in homemade salad dressing soups etc. The information below on MSG was taken from the FDA website. Hope it's helpful. What is MSG?Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is the sodium salt of the common amino acid glutamic acid. Glutamic acid is naturally present in our bodies, and in many foods and food additives. How is it made?MSG occurs naturally in many foods, such as tomatoes and cheeses. People around the world have eaten glutamate-rich foods throughout history. For example, a historical dish in the Asian community is a glutamate-rich seaweed broth. In 1908, a Japanese professor named Kikunae Ikeda was able to extract glutamate from this broth and determined that glutamate provided the savory taste to the soup. Professor Ikeda then filed a patent to produce MSG and commercial production started the following year.Today, instead of extracting and crystallizing MSG from seaweed broth, MSG is produced by the fermentation of starch, sugar beets, sugar cane or molasses. This fermentation process is similar to that used to make yogurt, vinegar and wine.

A LOT for the price!
MSG rocks, don't listen to what other people say. It makes everything taste super yummy and it does not cause cancer or whatever else people try to convince you of. Yeah, it's high in sodium but it's MSG so that's expected, plus you probably won't even use the full serving amount. A little goes a long way and this is probably going to last me a lifetime! You won't regret adding a dash of this to your warm, savory cooking

Great Alternative
We use the MSG as a flavor enhancer. We don't use much salt, so this is a nuc alternative

King of flavor
I never understood why this seasoning managed to garner such a bad reputation. Sometimes I wonder what percent of Americans are capable of independent thought. It's like salt but better.
