comfortable solution
I have my homemade cajon nice and shiny with a poly coating, so the grippy base holds in place very well. the padding is nice and not to high in order to not make your reach difficult while playing.

Broke after 1 year of moderate use
Great cajon cushion very comfortable for hours. It broke 1 year after moderate use, if they can make the center rotating axis metal instead of plastic it may last longer.

Rotation is a great feature, but plan on sitting for a 45 minute set on it. No cushion at all and I’m not big.
