The lid cannot be removed. The lid can be twisted to 3 positions: closed, small hole, large opening

Q: if i put this sugar in glass ice tea , will it go to bottom of glass like other brand i used

Yes it will. You will need to stir the ice tea until the sugar is dissolved. If you add too much sugar, not all of it will dissolve into the ice tea, after stirring, and settle at the bottom of the glass. This happens because cold liquids have a lower saturation point than warm or hot liquids.
