This AXR85receiver amp is of high quality construction and sound great. At 85 watts it is powerful enough for my medium size living room and has power to spare. It sounds clear and the stereo separation is excellent. The construction is first class and the color is great.

I was looking for an amplifier and/or receiver in that price range..... and I checked Denon and Marantz products as well.I am very happy with my decision to go with Cambridge Audio. In this price range they were the only ones who still use toroidal transformer, higher quality amplifiers and heatsinks.Cambridge Audio AX85 offers sound quality that could be compared with amplifiers that are double the price.

Ancien possesseur d'un Harman Kardon hk, j'ai eu la mauvaise idée d'acheter un Yamaha R-S202D de sois disant 100W . Aie aie aie mes oreilles, je l'ai vite renvoyé, et me suis dit qu'il fallait pour remplacé mon vieux Harman quelque chose de sérieux. J'ai été voir mes bonnes références Denon et Marantz, puis je suis tombé sur Cambridge que je ne connaissais pas du tout. Quel son, aussi bon que mon Harman, mais moins mou, plus claquant. Je me suis réécouté mes cd de floyd et alan parsons, et j'ai découvert des sons que je n'avais jamais entendu. Il est précis et envoie bien . Que du bonheur .

Eigentlich war ich zufrieden mit dem Cambridge Verstärker.Leider gab das Gerät nach 2 Jahren und zwei Wochen keinen Ton mehr von sich, bei wohlgemerkt seltener Benutzung. Ich bin episch enttäuscht. Elektronikschrott! Nie wieder Cambridge Audio.
