Prints well but not a bright red.
The red filament was packaged well and printed well but it's color is an orangish-red and has a flat finish. If you don't mind the color it's a good filament. My printer liked to print it at 235-240, the bottom end of the recommended range on the roll but my new Sprite Pro DD seems to run a little hotter than the stock Boden tube hotend on my Ender 3V2. Bed temp 100. I used an enclosure and only got layer separation where it was printing when I opened it up to install a light. I had some lifting of the prints early which I blame on the inside of the enclosure still being cool at the time. I am waiting for a PEI magnetic bet to be delivered which will hopefully fix my adhesion problems.Update: The PEI bed has solved my adhesion issues. I am now printing at 255-260 to get better layer adhesion and 95-100 bed for bed adhesion. At this temp the finished is slightly glossy but definitely not shiny like PLA. By letting the enclosure get heated by the printer before starting a print and disturbing it as little as possible layer lifts have been eliminated.

Bulletproof ASA
My favorite Asa filament! Used this to make custom brackets for my solar panel array on my roof. 4 years laster and it’s holding strong through Wisconsin winters!

Great bed adhesion and print quality
I used this to print multiple parts of an outdoor Christmas display and it seems to hold up very well. This thing sticks hard to the print bed skirts and brims are a PIA to remove without a scraper. The print quality is great after several spools and I'm overall very satisfied.

Tangled on spool
I used to consider Polymaker a 'more premium' brand compared to filaments half the cost, but after dealing with filament tangles 50% and 75% of the way through a spool of Polymaker Red ASA I am no longer willing to pay extra for below par quality. Elegoo has ASA available for ~$17 per KG and I have never had an issue with tangles on my Elegoo ASA filaments. The quality of Elegoo filament is on par with Polymaker filament, there are no notable differences. If anything I get better bed adhesion with Elegoo. This is not to say Elegoo is the only other filament on the market worth looking at (it happens to be my budget brand of choice), but polymaker is not worth the price premium and there are plenty of budget brands that are on par or better quality for a significant cost savings.

Good filament
Produced nice prints on a Prusa MK3S+ .8mm steel nozzle. The red is a vibrant red. Will buy again.

Prints beautifully, Terrible cardboard spool
Please Polymaker, do away with cardboard spools. The bend, don't rotate nicely and create lots of dust and debris which can end up in the print and ruin it. The filament is great, but as a package with the cardboard spool not worthy of 5 stars imho.
