Quality essential oil product with peppermint as primary scent
This came in a cute little box which held the small jar. A small jar is all they needed as this is very concentrated and meant to last a long time. I say that because I noticed that all I need is a couple dabs of this on my wrist and behind my ears and I can smell it very well. The smell is the most important feature of this mixed essential oil balm. Right off the bat, the smell is peppermint. I know peppermint helps throw the others scents which is why it’s so often used. I can smell a little hint of lemon and wish there was more of that and less peppermint. I am someone who is very sensitive to smell and particularly artificial as it makes me nauseated. That’s why I stick with essential oil candles as well as lotions. I can’t do most perfumes as that is much too strong. The problem with the strong peppermint smell it reminds too much of toothpaste…you know when after you brush your teeth and notice that you can still smell the peppermint toothpaste because you got some on your shirt? It reminds me of that, but then while wearing this balm, I notice other fragrances which is hard to describe, comes out and it’s quite lovely albeit hard to discern which essential oil it would be. It’s probably a smell that comes from the combination of some of the oils which creates a new and different scent.I was happy to see this for order because I have wanted to find something just like this that I can wear as I go about my day at home and enjoy the fragrance and the relaxed feeling that essential oils give me. I’m curious as to what the other scents smell like, and for the price I will try other ones from this company. The price is good for this and at a price point that people feel freer to buy and then try and see if it’s something they like. We all know that smells can be subjective and have different effects on people despite the claim of the oils productions a “certain” effect. I think all essential oils are lovely in their own way as they are made from real products that were designed to benefit us in many ways. I don’t believe they cure cancer or anything, but they sure smell good.In short, an inexpensive and quality product that’s got that “essential oil” smell that people either like or they don’t. I do think the scent of peppermint on this one is a bit too strong.

Love the smell
I love the small of this balm! I put it on before bed and it makes me feel so relaxed and like I’m at the spa. It isn’t too greasy and it absorbs fast while leaving a lingering scent. I highly recommend this balm!

A Balm Made With All Natural Ingredients Has A Prominent Spearmint Fragrance
Spa Ceylon Ayurveda Happy Uplifting Balm is made with all natural ingredients. The order includes 0.88oz of white colored balm that is incredibly soft and airy. When I saw that the product includes both virgin coconut oil and pure beeswax, I had envisioned a solid balm but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was not. It was easy to apply to my temple, behind my ears, on my neck, and on my wrists. I soon learned that a little product goes a long way. When I applied the balm, I found that it initially had a hint of shine but it absorbed quickly and left a slight feeling of residue on my skin. The fragrance is bright with the most prominent and distinct scent note being spearmint. The citrus notes are noticeable but not as distinguishable as the spearmint. Once applied, the fragrance remained noticeable for hours. I found the fragrance very happy and encouraged a relaxing feeling. The ingredients are clean, recognizable, and pronounceable including virgin coconut oil, pure beeswax, spearmint oil, orange peel oil, lemon peel oil, lime fruit oil, rosemary flower oil, patchouli oil, and natural Vitamin E from soya. It is a sustainably harvested product from a manufacturer that supports community fair trade. It is Made in Sri Lanka. The product that I received has a best by date of 29 months from the date that I received it. If you are a fan of essential oils like me, then this is definitely a product that you should try.

A pleasant smell, but was runny and greasy
Thoroughly enjoyed the smell, but the product itself is exceptionally thin and felt very runny. After putting it on my wrists, temples, and neck I tried wiping it off my fingers and noted they had an almost greasy sheen to them. Maybe I used too much, but I only took a fingertip's worth from the lid and applied it. I will say I did enjoy the way it smelled and can confirm it had a clear, cool scent to it. However, that greasiness will leave me hesitating to use it more frequently. May want to recommend using cotton swabs to apply to avoid that issue!

Smells like an upscale Vicks
I quite like this little glass jar, though I was surprised at how small it was inside the much larger box it came packaged in. However, the scent of the product is very strong and a tiny amount goes a very long way. While the product looks like a hard wax, it instantly melted with the heat of a fingertip, so it comes off as an oil on your finger that absorbs easily into the touchpoint on the skin. The smell struck me as similar to Vicks, but without the harsh medicinal quality - more like a softer, mintier scent. It does smell very spa-like and relaxing. There was no tingling or warming sensation on my skin which I usually get with strong mentholated products.
