For small car
Bought this for my daughter as her little car was without a jack. Works well although a little flimsy so would recommend only to use with smaller cars. Overall very good value.

Bike jack
It's great. Easy to use and holds my bike very well. I've a Triumph American and jacked it up last week to clean, and was so much easier with the wheels free to clean.

Does the job. Robust.
I spent ages researching jacks for my Moto Guzzi V7. The problem is the exhausts hang nearly 3 inches between the frame rails. I then spoke to a former Guzzi dealer/mechanic who said get "the 50 quid one off Amazon" and use a block of wood cut to size. I bought this. It arrived sensibly packaged within 3 days. Sturdy feeling piece of kit. However, when I first tested it, I was surprised to find that the platform rocks from side to side. A careful examination showed no damage, fault, or missing parts. I then wound it up to a greater height and it became stable. I then tried it lifting the bike, first lifting the back end with the block of wood under the transverse frame rail, then the front end with the block of wood under the sump. The supposed "wobble" was not a problem at all and the bike felt stable enough to work on. I cannot think of any reason why I would want to lift both wheels off the ground at the same time, but even if I could find the exact point of balance, I would be wary of doing it with this as the platform is quite small. I might consider doing it with two, one at each end. However, for standard jobs like removing one wheel, slipping off the silencers, changing brake pads, and cleaning the wheels, this jack is ideal. Long story short: now I've worked out the best way to use it with my particular bike, I'm pleased with the purchase.
