My old desktop machine was starting to show it's age, so I looked for solutions around my much newer Win11 Samsung laptop and this is what I came up with!As a hobbyist photographer, 2 monitors and lots of storage is a must and the TS4 enables that beautifully! Currently plugged in to the dock are my wired internet, 2 x full HD monitors, 3x hard drives, wireless keyboard & mouse and my speakers - all running from just the one TB4 cable which also charges my laptop with hardly any noticeable slowdown on any device!The TS4 required literally no set-up and worked instantly with all my devices, though I'd guess that the latest version of Windows 11 is needed to take full advantage of this remarkable device.Yes it's a little pricey, even at £320 in the Black Friday sale, but it's reliable and solidly built and should last for a few years before the next leap in connectivity technology renders it obsolete.Definitely recommended!

First things first - it's expensive, relative to some other docks. What it also is, is pretty much the best Thunderbolt 4 dock available, and doesn't (in my opinion) have any real competition. It's VERY MUCH worth the price I personally paid!It's got more ports than you'll ever likely need or use, and if you did try you'd likely run out of host bandwidth at some point before things keeled over.Personally, I needed enough TB4 and display connectors to hook up multiple monitors and a couple of NVMe SSDs in USB4 caddies, and with those connected it just works. I've a Logitech Bolt dongle, an audio output to speakers, a NIC cable and I'm still trying desperately not to buy more kit so I can say I'm making full use of it!You'll know you'll want this if you need it, so go ahead and get it bought, and don't buy something inferior first.

I thought for a long time before I finally committed to buying this dock, but it has lived up to its price tag and the hype.I have had it now for about a month and love everything about it. It has such flexibility in terms of the different ports, looks good on my desk, has a really solid and well built feel to it and despite some other comments I have had no issues with it getting excessively hot. I use it to connect to a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro and also a 2022 M2 MacBook Air and both work equally well. I have 2 screens, external back up hard drives, printer, scanner and various other peripherals connected and they all work smoothly. I find the 20W charging port on the front of the dock really useful to charge my phone or iPad. I work between two offices and being able to have only one cable to connect to my Mac which both charges it and connects all the peripherals just makes it so convenient.Excellent dock and I would definitely recommend it!

Actions speak louder than words!I have tried literally 20 different docks in my life.All of them have been ok-ish.When I came across the CalDigit TS4 Thunderbolt 4 Dock - 18 Ports, 98W I was curious.Yes not cheap, however you get what you pay for!AND oh gosh it does NOT disappoint! This docking station is the BEST in the market!I have all the ports at the back being used. It hardly heats up.All devices operate without issues and no drops or failures.I am completely and utterly surprised and pleased.The reviews are true and thus my review is true as well.I wish I had this earlier in my life. What a perfect device!One improvement would be to add a further 1-2 usb-c and/or usb 3.1 ports, but that is asking a lot.In fact I would also like to see this device in maybe a black or different colours. This would be cool.Otherwise, well done CalDigit! Brilliant piece of tech. not cheap however it works and works well!!!!!Thank you!
