Sweet hat / kinda helmet
Needed a surf hat for my thinning hair. I surf really rocky areas. This is a confidence booster as well as sun shade. Used a blow dryer to heat it a bit and squeezed it into perfect comfortable shape for my head

Broke on Day 30- threads came apart. 2nd use. Amazon policy is 30 days. No way to contact vendor.
Please contact me to replace your helmet. It was a good helmet on its 1st use, but should last 2 uses. I used it today, the 25th of Feb and it was delivered Jan 25. Amazon has no way to contact you. I guess since Jan has 31 days, I’m a day late. Hopefully your helmets aren’t all sewn like this.

Hair gets caught in the velcro
Good protection from head trauma as well as sun. Easy to duck dive with. The plastic snap on the back broke in one month though and my hair keeps getting caught in the velcro in the inside front part that keeps the hat fabric attached to the plastic rim.

Bump protection while wake foiling
The media could not be loaded. Hat fits great. Wanted it for protection from the foil and mast while learning to wake foil. Bumped my head on the board one time and this did great at minimizing the impact to my head. Looks decently good too. Not overly comfortable but is loose enough to forget its there.

Comfortable, lightweight
of course this does not provide the protection of a full helmet but this is a very well designed "hatmet" as I like to call it. I wear it surfing and it really is quite comfortable. I forget I have it on. keeps my bald spot from getting sun scorched. and my head size is 23" I usually order head things in medium/large and this fits me fine. Actually is a good looking hat.
