This is some interesting stuff
I got this on a whim. The 1st time i tried it, i was not impressed. It was too dry and hard to spread. Still I start what I finish and I patched a decent size drywall hole. I went back the next day and checked on it. What i found was amazing, the whole was totally patched, the spackle didnt shrink and it was so smooth, I couldnt hope to have replicated it with joint compound. The next time I used it, I added some water to a spoonfull of spackle and mixed it. It basically turned into soup. I added more spackle, and more and more until finally i had the entire container mixed with the water......... and it was still too runny. I left it to airdry an hour and it became usable again. The point of that story is if you add water its much easier to work with. But add it a couple drops at a time. If you add a shotglass worth itll be like cloudy water.

Best Stuff Out There
Works great at patching holes in drywall. I had a bunch of holes in the garage walls I needed to repair. Big holes or small holes, the stuff adhered well and dried rock hard. It says it can patch a hole up to 8" wide. I didn't have holes that large but it did a great job on a 2" hole. Packed some newspaper in the back of the hole to keep the patch material from falling in and smeared it on. Dried well and rock hard.Love the square container too. The straight edges make scraping the putty knife super easy, unlike the round or curved edge containers.Pleased with this product and would use it again.

good but…
ok so i got the 8oz pack first that came with the one patch and the tool, didn’t have enough. but the 8oz one was a little more moist than this 16oz one. the reviewer who said to add like the smallest amount of water and mix is GOD SENT. i included a picture of two types of holes i had, left side only has the grid type patch but the right side has the little aluminum plate in it. left side i used a little water, right side no water in the mix. it’s easy to use once you put some water in it and also mix and scrape and mix and scrape like kneading dough/clay. you HAVE to cap it. for some reason it drys way faster IN the little container than it does on the wall. i also think it does need that small spit of water to fix the flakiness because it does say it’s spackling AND primer and the “paint” probably dries it out and makes it flaky. dried it looks AMAZING. i added a picture of an old hole i fixed with the 8oz pack.

Good kit to patch up drywall holes.
I liked that it came with everything I needed for patching up the hole: a square, the putty, putty knife (plastic but oh well) and a sanding paper. The putty dries too fast and takes on a crumbly state, and I wish they had two patches since there’s ample amount of putty to fix not one but two holes.

Product old
I've used this stuff in the recent past and it worked excellent. I bought it locally. This time I got it from Amazon and it seems to me it has been sitting on the shelf to long.. It was very dry which made it very difficult to apply and created a lot of waste due to not bonding to the surface area I was trying to repair.

Good buy
I needed this product to repair damaged drywall in my closet. It was easy to use and sanded down smoothly. I would recommend to anyone need of minor repairs.

It’s fun to use
It’s satisfying to get a stick and shove it into a hole. Yep. And it sands well, it’s fun to sand even. Lots of very very fun dust so there’s that but that’s easy to mop up and yeah it’s a decent whatever this stuff is called. Caulk? Stucco? Wall fixer goo? I tend to opt for gorilla products because I tend to be a sucker for brands that have graphically compelling logos and imagery that captures the essence of what it is I want to use them for, like yes I want a rug pad but I worry that my rug will slip, but would it slip if a gorilla was keeping it tethered to the floor? No! Gorillas are beasts! And same with the wall grout, caulk, this stuff. Gorillas, like my needs, rely on strength to be effective. Hence, my recommendation.
