Super sweet so far we love it you can spray it all over again to keep using it it does get dented up but the paint makes it less noticeable we have used it a bunch and she's still going strong you do need to get your own wood for the stand!

JUST BUT IT!
I love this thing. Range days are a blast (pun intended) with this target. I love the sound of rounds impacting the target. A must have for any gun guy/girl.

Works fine. Angle was 11.
The silhouette hangs at a downward angle measured at 11 degrees. Put in a beveled washer to correct to 20. Assuming that matters to you. 20 degrees would be safer when firing upon this target at shorter distances. This AR500 steel had no divots after being hit with FMJ 9mm and 22lr at 25 yards. The orange plate swings back and forth adequately when struck. Some assembly is required. You will need a 4 ft long 2x4, or cut the wood to whatever height you choose. Will also need a drill in order to make 2 holes to mount the steel holder, and a set of wrenches or an adjustable wrench. 3/4 inch sized wrench needed to tighten the nut that fastens the large carriage bolt holding up the plate. Thankfully hardware was provided and nothing was missing. Kit comes with one Allen key. This kit is a bargain at half the price of similar sized AR 500 3/8 inch steel targets+ stands. Also know that these are not rimfire targets, so don't expect rimfire calibers like 22lr to hit with enough force to swing the orange circle gong, as this kit is not made with lighter steel found on rimfire targets.

Excellent Value for Price, Some Considerations.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this as I needed something relatively soon for a range trip. It works as advertised, with some limitations that you must understand prior to usage of this target.Fit and Finish -The powder coat finish is a nice touch however remember that you'll likely be painting over it relatively quickly. I found a near exact match by luck at my local hardware store that paints over and blends quite nice. All hardware was present during the unboxing and assembly. I did have to borrow a friend's drill to make the two holes for the top mounting bolts. Drilling the holes was easy as I could use the top hanger as a stencil for drilling. I was able to transport the 2x4 with ease while the top target hanger was bolted to the wood. The target stand is easy to assemble and I used a toolkit with a socket kit to clamp the wood into it without any issues. You could use an adjustable wrench if space or tools are limited.Usage -I primally used the target as a standard 12x20 inch target with the hostage plate as just a challenge plate. I noticed that sometimes hitting plate near where the hostage spinner is mounted causes it to move slightly. This may be something to consider if you're trying to go for both targets in quick succession.I used 9mm (124g +P NATO) and 5.56x45 (55g FMJBT (14.5 inch barrel)) without any deformation to the steel. You may run into some issues with steel core ammo however in my case steel core is prohibited due to fire risk.I did not use any rifle rounds on the hostage plate, as I wasn't sure the plate could handle the shock on the welded sections as shown in other reviews.I did notice in some instances the impact on the steel plate would transfer to the welds on the hostage spinner and require another hit on the main plate to reset. For this reason, I did drop the review a star. The only way to prevent this would to have a separate mount for the hostage spinner which would drive up the cost significantly. It's a minor inconvenience but does still function fine the majority of the time.I used two rocks to secure the stand to the ground to reduce movement from the hanger to the plate. The plate was able to move with each hit to reduce spalling as designed.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I can't comment on the long term durability as the plate hasn't seen a ton of rounds yet. If I experience any deformation, pitting, or cracked welded sections I'll update this review. For a piece of steel to have the ability to also have a hostage plate attached, it's an excellent value. Just be mindful of what you throw at the hostage plate.

Amazing!
I bought this for my fiance and he took it to a range with his buddies and they shot it with pistols, rifles, and a 12g Shotgun and it held up great! Super easy to assemble. All it needs is a 4ft-5ft 2x4 piece and you can go to home depot and have them cut it for you. 2 pieces is $3.25 so super cheap

Super easy setup, durable
Assembly was as straight forward as it gets, i opted for using a 2x4 instead of their steel pole. Got one 2x4 and cut in half for two good height stands. Have put about 2000 rounds into it and besides the paint you cant tell at all. Will be buying more in the future.

Ugh…….. how can this be so bad?
Going shooting today and I go to put my new target together and I can’t……. Seems that lining up the holes in the base was something they didn’t consider. Little bit difficult doing step one of the assembly when the bolts can’t be installed because the holes are WAY off. Almost $200 for a target and they can’t get that right? I shouldn’t have to do fabrication on a brand new item….. if I could give this negative stats I would….
