Our central air unit went out after 26 years. A good life. However replacement quotes were insane, new ductwork and unit. My hvac friend praised the mini split system and told me how great Senville is. So at risk of my wife ripping a new one but saving a ton of money I decided to give it a try. Installation is moderately difficult if you are not a regular diy guy with a decent set of tools. This 36k unit is large and heavy, you will need a hand with placement and mounting. Once done, yes it may be a bit of a eyesore (wifes opinion) compared to your duct work/vent central air unit. But..... It works incredible. The house has never been cooler even with only the one single head unit. Also, if you need help with anything and call Senville a human is there to speak to that speaks english! They are extremely helpful. I believe this was a great choice and if you are on the fence go for it I dont think you will regret it.

I called out technicians countless times to diagnose it and there would always be leaks in the refrigerant lines. Furthermore, central HVAC systems rely heavily on the ductwork to work efficiently. A technician told me my ductwork was shotty and that was likely causing the cooling and heating to not be efficient. Replacing ductwork can cost around $5,000. Due to there being so many parts in a central HVAC system that could cause problems, I decided to get a mini split air conditioner to avoid all problems now and all possible problems in the future. Mini split air conditioners being ductless and not relying on ductwork was the cherry on top.After research, I decided to go with the Senville Leto 36000 BTU mini split air conditioner. If you plan to purchase one, make sure you get one with the number of BTUs you need for the area you plan to cool or heat! Moving on, this unit had the best reviews and competitive pricing. I ordered directly from Senville through Amazon.com and the unit was at my house within two weeks.I decided to have a licensed HVAC technician install it to take advantage of the warranty (requires a licensed HVAC technician to do the installation). Finding a licensed HVAC technician for the installation was a little difficult. All the HVAC technicians in my area either stated they only install mini split air conditioners purchased directly from them, which are extremely overpriced for their BTUs, or wanted a crazy amount of money to do the installation. The easiest way to find a good HVAC technician for the installation is to go to Yelp.com and search for “Mini Split Installation” in your area. From the search results, use the Request a Quote button to get quotes for the installation. I was able to find two HVAC technicians who were willing to install this mini split air conditioner at an extremely reasonable price.The installation itself is easy. However, I recommend that the purchaser read the manual to know how the mini split air conditioner works and what to expect. Basically, make sure the following things are done during installation,- The lines are vacuumed and pressure tested to detect leaks- All connections are tight and made in accordance with the manualI’ve been using the Senville Leto 36000 BTU mini split air conditioner to both cool and heat my house for about two months now. It works perfectly!

Cooling my 40 x 40 x 16 shop. 4" closed foam insulation. Install was easy (with the help of my HVAC guy). Instructions a little vague but he knew what he was doing. Very, very quiet! Cooling down nicely. For the price, the 36000 BTU unit appears, at this point, to be doing a great job. Outside air temperature here in central Texas today is a chilly 104 degrees F! YES, I would recommend this unit.

I bought 2 of the 36,000 BTU single head units for my 40x80 shop with 14’ tall ceilings.It has R19 insulation in the walls and 12” of blown in fiberglass in the ceiling.The 2 units were pretty easy to install, they warm the big shop up pretty fast.I leave them on 65 every day, it feels so nice and cozy in there.One thing you will need is an R410A adapter to fit the charging port when you pull a vacuum. Easy to find on Amazon.These units are too heavy to hang on the brackets so I poured concrete pads for them.Energy bill didn’t go up much really, might be different in the summer.

Easy to use works great. I had it professionally installed wanted no problems. Would definitely recommend I’ve had two other friends buy as well 3 different sizes were purchased

nervous pulling the trigger at first as i didn't know the company well and was going to do the installation myself. given my experience, i don't know what i was nervous about.firstly the delivery was extremely fast and the driver was very professional and put the palette exactly where i asked him. the unit arrived extremely well packed and crated without so much as a scratch on the boxes.at three tons it's a beast, much bigger than my two ton unit from panasonic (that i actually like very much too). but what you get for that size is maximum efficiency. i can cool an 800 sq ft room to 65 with it being 90 outside. and it's not killing itself doing it either, it shuts off for long periods of time because it has nothing to do. it's that efficient!installation was a breeze thanks to youtube. after watching the process a half dozen times i felt comfortable cutting and flaring copper lines, pulling vacuum and releasing the refrigerant. all went without a hitch and the unit worked (and works) beautifully. i cannot get over how quite it is. the outdoor unit is sitting next to the two 5 ton conventional air conditioners and they roar when they come on. i can't hear this one at all. very pleasant.there are only two minor gripes. 1. the warranty is void if you do the refrigerant yourself and 2. no direct low voltage control via external thermostat. i could not find a single mini split manufacturer that offered that simple feature. what's up with that? other than that, couldn't be happier.
