This product is significantly less expensive than the stuff that is sold through aviation sites. It is not as rigid and is more glossy in appearance. But, it is easy to work with and seems to be doing the trick. Would purchase again.

Wrapped up my steering linkage in this. It is pretty flexible but took me awhile to get it over a thick part of the line. It seems to be holding up pretty well against my exhaust so far. Their seems to be some fibers inside so be careful when handling it.

Used to shield the plastic hydraulic clutch line on a 2001 Chevy s10. Had a exhaust leak that was causing the clutch line to melt and blow. Fixed the exhaust leak and wrapped this around the new clutch line and haven't had any issues since. I did test this fire sleeve before installing by cutting a piece off and holding it under a flame. I couldn't even get this to catch fire. The most it did was glow a little bit and crackle under the flame, but the second I took the flame away it quit. I also heated up the outside and using a temperature gun I measured the outside and inside temp and the inside was at least 100 degrees cooler.

This hose sleeve is really heavy and feels well made. I used it for peace of mind routing the fuel line by the exhaust header on my jeep. I probably should've purchased the one inch size for space saving but this size is working out fine.

For my need this insulated covering worked very well. I can see where it would be perfect for higher heat protection than I needed. And great price compared to local stores!

I bought this to insulate the fuel line on my Ford Model A. It seems to work very well and I have not experienced vapor lock.

Perfect replacement for the waffle iron I fixed. Easy to work with, feels well made.
