These refills are invaluable. My dogs love to be outside in sunny, very warm days in Florida. In this situation, I have to change out ice packs reasonably frequently and these freeze quite quickly. Thus far, they are durable and one side is smooth against my dogs' coat. (One side is bumpy from ice cubes.
