cuts great, wont buy anything but Stihl

To be fair, the product is 5-stars, but the packaging was about 2-stars. See photos. The box got crushed in the mail and the chain came completely out of the box. The bubble-wrap envelope kept it intact, but come on, how much would it cost to add a small strip of packing tape to keep the box closed? Thankfully none of the teeth were bent or worse. I used the chain the next day and it worked great. Really can't beat it for the price and makes me overlook the crummy packaging.

Price has gone up substantially since I started buying these OEM Stihl chains 1 year ago. Don't think the chain had the OEM green dot or link on it, since it probably comes from a huge coil. I suppose it lasted as long as the ones bought from hardware store. Pricing made me have my "used" chains sharpened. and for next new one I will consider aftermarket chains to get more life or better value.

I purchased the 2 pack and saved nearly $30 compared to local stihl dealer. I was a little concerned that the boxes came with no markings designating size, guage, or pitch. But, they did indeed fit my saw as expected.

Great Stihl Replacement chain but I only have experience with Stihl chainsaws and chains. Stihl chains seem to be high quality materials which last as long as you keep them sharp. I'm not sure if it's better or worse than any other chainsaw chain but I feel you can't go wrong with this chain. IMHO Stihl products are always made of excellent materials and design. I'm sure I will be buying a Stihl chain again when I need another one.
