Beautiful Statue
Another great addition to my growing collection of Norse Mythology Statues. Veronese Design statues are my favorite due to their craftmanship, attention to detail, and overall appearance. Veronese Design may be on the higher end when it comes to pricing, but well worth it. I would recommend interested buyers to just watch for sales if on a budget and then go from there. Kudos to the seller, as the item was package securely.

Well Detailed Like All Veronese Designs
Skadi joined Artemis and Orion with my recurve bow display. The plastic arrow that's being held by her was too long, as compared to the hip quiver size, plus it was bent. I shortened the top half, cutting out the bent section, and glued the fletching and shortened shaft back on, using a special vinyl/plastic adhesive; so far, so good. The bow needed a string, I used copper wire to make this with. Being that mythological Skadi lives in the mountains that are always covered with ice and snow, I added more on the base, using flat white, acrylic paint. This modern representation doesn't match the drawings and paintings that can be viewed on Norse Mythology websites. Skadi is always bundled-up for the cold weather, as are the other Norse gods of old. This Veronese representation is more like a Skadi who's dressed for the beach and some fun in the sun. Thus, the design gets 3-stars from me in that regard.

worth the money
beautiful statue, over all really decent for the price but I was disappointed that there are a few pieces on skadi like her necklace that seem unpainted/bronzed or unfinished
