Love the smell!
It's hard to find a good smelling wig spray. They all smell like chemicals to me. But this one smells great! It's not overpowering. It's light and lovely. It also doesn't leave a greasy or filmy residue on the units which is a huge plus. Leaves synthetic fibers feeling soft and restored and helps fight tangling. Definitely recommend!

Keeps synthetic hair looking good
This product makes synthetic hair look more lifelike, and it has a very pleasant scent. The conditioner itself is great, but I deducted a star because the sprayer on the bottle shoots out bubbles and globs instead of a fine mist.

Six-year user - fave leave-in for synth
Have been using this product for six years now and it's my #1 go-to for synthetic hair. Unlike other leave-in products for synth, this doesn't build up unless you egregiously over-use it.I've used it on HR synth, regular kanekalon, and HH. I like it best on kanekalon for an everyday detangle and comb-thru. It behaves differently on all hair types and to my experience, differently on different brands of each type of hair. Some caveats - if, after washing, you don't get all the shampoo or conditioner out of your hair, this product may not perform to spec and may do some weird stuff (like get tacky). If you spray this on top of another brand leave-in, it may do weird stuff (did for me).Best performance for me has come from a good wash & condition (I like HairUWear moisturizing s/c and Estetica S/C), ideally in distilled water, then do a last "dunk" by putting 12 or so sprays of this product into a small pan of water and dunking all your hair/unit into it for a few minutes, then hang to dry. It will make comb-out easier and you can spot treat areas later that might be more prone to tangling. Then a small spritz every day to keep things tangle-free.Depending on how long you wear your hair between washings, then yes, this can build up.If you are a multi-week bonder or if you clip in or whatever that has you wearing your hair multiple times between washes, then you might consider diluting this in distilled water for the nightly condition and comb-out (I use about 6:1 water/leave-in). This will also give you the moisture you need to restore curl/bounce to synth styles without having to saturate the hair. Also, if you're going thru a "windy" season or pollen season or work in a building that has a lot of dust (which has been every dang office/business I've worked in), remember that over-using this spray may cause more environmental stuff to stick to your hair, which will cause even more tangles. I learned this the hard way during one super-pollen spring. Came home with tangles, used more spray, still had tangles and weird texture to it all and then decided the 2" of pollen on my car might have collected on my hair while working outside. It had.If this is your situation and you're in a pinch and can't wash right away, just use the finest comb/brush approved for your hair to try to brush out some of the dust before re-spraying this product. Also, to the lady in 2017 who had white flakes - that sounds like hairspray or dry shampoo that might not have rinsed well? This hasn't flaked for me. Did you use it on a brand new unit, by any chance? Those come from the factory with some other kind of proprietary silicone on board. I always wash first (although I hate to lose that from the factory "slip").In many years of dealing with long, synthetic hair, I've been surprised at the weird combos that can produce weird results - i.e. sometimes the shampoo/conditioner combo just doesn't work together, sometimes you have so much hard water buildup that no conditioner would work, or maybe the wash/cond products aren't rinsing well and everything down the line just doesn't work to plan.Overall, this is my favorite leave-in and I have tried many, some much more expensive, some cheaper. This one, for me, offers more conditioning, less built-up, and more day-to-day use without adverse effects. If you need serious restoration, try Velvasil with steam for intense treatment and then go back to this for your everyday. If you need everyday detangling and gentle moisture, this is your spray.

Not good on remy hair extensions, great for synthetic wigs
I got this to help eliminate frizz at the ends of my remy tape-in hair extensions (which are real human hair that has already been highlighted), and it didn’t work well. The frizz was only mildly tamed and all this product did was make my extensions feel weighed down.I do own a couple of synthetic wigs I’ve used for Halloween costumes, and it worked like a charm on them. The hair was immediately easy to comb through, and the hair looked shiny again. I definitely recommend this spray for wigs, but not for remy extensions.
