Really nice little fountain bird bath for the price
Bought this for my mom. She loves feeding birds outside the house, so I figured this would be a nice gift.It looks nice. The fountain is great. Looks good and functions really well. It includes different tips for different water effects which is also great. And I love that the water moves so less cleaning and less still water equals less bugs.I set it up for her. It’s very easy. It came with instructions, but honestly it’s just screwing a few pieces together and tapping a few stakes in the ground.I glued the solar pump down in the center and put some aquarium glass stones in to keep the pump centered. It’s a nice little addition to her yard.Negatives:It’s plastic so it’s not the most sturdy or strongest thing…. But that also makes it light and easy to set up. The stakes make it very sturdy. You’d probably have to weigh it down if placed on concrete.Glueing the pump so it doesn’t move, works great. But, it also means it will be harder to replace the pump if it stops working. For the price though (I got this on a flash sale), that’s not the biggest deal. Plus the pump will cover any glue residue or scratches if the pump needed to be replaced. So all in all I give it a 9/10.

Nice but no pump power control
Easy to assemble, yes as reviews states that when windy the pump will float to the side and the water sprinkles will go outside the bowl, draining in few minutes all the water and pumping dry !! I will glue the pump in the center with silicone , will help with a lite wind condition. Giving 4 stars because there is no control on the pump power and if you get a small slice of shade on the pump the power drains almost to a stop. The water issue with wind would be on any brand.

pump isn’t great but bird bath is beautiful
The media could not be loaded. I agree with other posters about having to mount the pump somehow in the middle of the bird bath because when it runs full spray it floats and sprays outside the birdbath using all the water and you have to constantly refill. It’s been over 24 hrs and yesterday was a day of full sun. I put rocks in it to stabilize the pump (the rocks in the middle on top are not in the way of the solar panels, they are there to weigh the pump down so it is fully submerged in water-as that was an issue too). First day I had a really pretty fountain spraying constantly. But on the second full day it sprays only about 4 inches high and then nothing. Then sprays again about 4” high. I’ve ordered another one to see if perhaps this pump is defective and will update when I know. It’s all pretty. I can’t wait to see birds bathing!**UPDATE** After another 24 hours of use, I realized, as others have mentioned, that it doesn't store the solar energy; the bubbler works based on how much sun it's getting at the time. It was sunny on my second day of use, but there were some clouds, so I believe that is why the bubbler wasn't spraying full spray. To note: I filled the stand with sand to weigh it down since I can't use the stakes (My bird bath is sitting on top of a septic pump cover) and I decided I would add another rock to cover one of the panels to decrease the full spray so I wouldn't have to refill as often. It gives just enough bubble in full sun now so hopefully the water stays agitated enough during the daylight hours (will not run at night or on cloudy days) so that mosquitoes won't breed there. I think decreasing the fountain of the bubbler will also work better since I get some wind bursts that would typically blow the water out of the bowl even with it mounted in the middle of the bowl. The smaller the fountain, the more water stays in the bowl.To me, this is a great find and worth the money. I've now watched birds bathing and drinking water. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.Now.. does anyone know what I could put in there to keep the algae at bay? I don't have any yet, and can't find any older real copper pennies. Should I just buy a piece of copper?**2nd UPDATE: I still LOVE the birdbath! But the pump already stopped working! Guess I'll have to purchase a new pump. One that will stay centered so that I don't have to use rocks.

Nice idea but poorly designed
While this looks nice outside, it was difficult to keep water in the bowl. The pump/fountain would not stick to the bottom of the bowl as the suction cups were too small and not strong enough. Thus, the fountain would drift around and eventually start showering water out of the bowl and onto the floor.

Solar fountain now working correctly.
Bird bath ok just questionable solar water fountain, Great idea but does not work correctly puts out a very low flow with a nozzle head, water fountain is about 1/4 inch HI, Was 6 inches for one hour, then went to 1/4 inch and stayed their, THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE,,,The seller sent me another assembly and I know have a working fountain, Thank you very much.

Excellent birdbath!
Very cute bird bath!I love the different fountain features. It’s sturdy enough for my needs but pretty lightweight. I love the color. Just what I had in mind.

Fountain doesn't work for this bird bath.
The actual bird bath was easy to put together and while it's plastic it's pretty sturdy.y problem is that the fountain only works for a short period of time. No matter which top we put on, the fountain shoots all of the water out of the fountain in an hour or less. It's in a sunny location so it's always charged but it also stops working at intervals. Will change review if they send me a proper fountain.

Pleasantly Surprised, But May Need Some Adjustments
I didn't know what to expect for the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely lightweight -- but oddly looks heavy (which is a good thing). It may need to be placed on a sturdy surface and/or weighted, because a heavy wind would easily knock it over. I am not sure how well the anchors will work. Also, I live in a sunny climate. The pump works almost too well. Like many others, the spray went everywhere and the pump floated around; water was gone within 40 minutes. I saw a user had added a weight to the solar pump, which gave me an idea. I added some large black orchid stones in the center. This did two things: weighted the pump down and blocked a bit of the solar panel, reducing the strength of the upward flow.I've had many other fountains, previously: expensive ones mostly. There is something about this one I really love. I can move it easily, it's pretty much maintenance free and the looks aren't bad.
